We love the Yankee! The rooms are spacious for our needs. There were a couple of small items that should be looked at between each guest though. The bathroom door handle was very loose. If it had come off a guest could have been trapped in there. Also, our windows were unlocked. We locked the back one. The other we could not get closed and it sounded like we were in a blizzard. Maintenance was told and I’m sure they will be right on it for the next guests.
These small items will not deter us from staying. The staff is so accommodating that it is our go to place when we visit the Berkshires

I visit the Lenox area fairly often and I always choose the Yankee Inn. It is clean and comfortable, quiet and convenient, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have stayed in both buildings - the experience is different, but both are pleasant. There are a lot of places to stay in the surrounding area, but when I choose the Yankee Inn, I know I won't be disappointed. The gorgeous mountain view is a bonus!

The front desk staff were amazing. Very helpful and pleasant. The room was cozy, clean and updated and we had a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was good. My only complaint was the omelet station. The omelet was not made properly. You need to sauté the onions and bell peppers before adding the egg or else it’ll have a raw taste. No biggie though because the scrambled eggs in the main buffet area were very good. Nice pool and jacuzzi area.

Welcoming staff at check in . Rooms was clean and comfortable. Coffee maker with regular cups and glasses for drinking. Variety of hot and cold food for breakfast to include made to order omelets included in hotel price. Bed was comfortable.

We had a convenient private entrance from the parking lot on the ground level. The trade off was that, for privacy and safety, we could not open the window or the curtains, so the room was a bit dark. It is nice to have a spacious vanity and sink outside the bathroom, but the bathroom itself was consequently very small. All in all, a comfortable and well-appointed room.

Very unhappy that we didnt get the room we had no fireplace like the room said and the indoor pool was out of service and couldn’t be used and that I was doubled charged on my credit card and now I have to wait days to get my money after I had paid in cash they charged my card anyway. There were no other rooms to switch us to. This was our anniversary weekend and purposely got booked the room with a working fireplace and jacuzzi room because we knew it was going to rain and couldn’t use the outdoor pool or do anything outside.

My stay for 2 nights was fine & the breakfast was very good. My room was clean. However, Every time I opened the door to my room, I got a strong odor that smelled like dirty wet socks or wet dog.
I think the carpet needs replacing.
