Trop is a great hotel with plenty of places to eat and festive around the Christmas season. The hotel spending a couple of extra bucks would go
a long way. We could have used an extra blanket since the heat was not working. Two cardboard coffee cups for the entire one bedroom suite. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The second night the heat came on and couldn’t lower it so I just turned it
off. The heat seems to be an issue in other reviews. It was a nice stay but as said a little extra effort on the part of the hotel would go a long way with minimal investment.

Where to even begin! Our whole floor reeked of marijuana. The next morning we had no hot water at all! Ice cold water only. After being on hold for 30 minutes with front desk, getting no response from IVY (AI concierge); we walked down to the front desk with tons of other customers with the same complaint. THe front desk was only willing to give us a 50 dollar comp at first for a restaurant. I declared that i did not want that and that I wanted hot water. If they could not provide that then I wanted to check out and go somewhere else. They moved us to a lower floor and stated that those floors had hot water with the manager on duty not being very friendly at all and claiming we were yelling. No one was yelling just frustrated. Not sure why moving to another room wasn't the initial solution then instead of a comp. We moved rooms only to find that that room did not have hot water either. We decided to check out casino and see if we had hot water when we returned. We did but then we had no heat in our room. Do yourself a favor and just stay at another resort/casino. That place is a joke. And the AI response on these reviews is about all they will try and do to make things better. The most help and wonderful worker we got assistance from was the Rosetta the parking attendant. She was pleasant and helpful in informing us about paying for parking and transferring when we went to the Borgata. Should have stayed there.

We went to the Tropicana for a concert and decided to stay overnight even though we only live about 90 minutes away. Best decision we made. Check in was easy. The room was everything we expected and our night could only have been better if we had won at the slots. I would recommend Tropicana Hotel Casino to friends in the future.

I defended my boyfriend and I to come for a last minute weekend stay. We knew the price was gonna be a little higher then normal as we booked the same day stay for two nights three days. We checked in and were located on the west side of Tropicana hotel. We didn’t even

I was looking forward to the indoor pool and when we arrived they said they do not have enough workers to open it. Meanwhile we paid a 40 resort fee and the amenities are not available nor was it listed on their website.

The room was beautiful and had a nice oceanview, but couldn't take a shower in the morning since there was no hot water! I know this is a minor detail, but the enormous oversized bed pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on. I'd advise bringing your own.

They closed the kiosks while we were standing in line. It was 8p on a Friday so closed them requiring a long walk to the main desk.
My wife is a recent cancer survivor.
We have come to Tropicana a dozen times in the last 2 years to get to ocean. My wife enjoys it.
But the Trop is is cosmetically looking worn. Dirty elevators, in Havana tower the heat barely was working even when raised to 90 on thermostat in our room.
I am tired of paying for parking when other hotels its free.
It seems like the casino is on the downturn.
What are you going to do about it.
Where did customer satisfaction go?

I enjoyed the property and the price. I was offered a penthouse suite for a great price

Love the hotel. It’s so big, very easy to get lost. Couldn’t find the front desk. Time from parking to entering the room was almost an hour. Will do via email in the future.

The hotel was better than expected for the price. Easy check in and out.
The room was very, very noisy as well as a pipe in the bathroom.
Housekeeping came one day but not the next.
Restaurants we ate at also very good.

Tropicana charged additional money during check-in. I had paid the price online through hotels.com, but at the time of check-in, I was asked to pay additional money for the same room as the booking was from third party vendor (hotels.com), and the staff at front-desk was saying that she could not get the full details of the reservations as it was from third party vendor (hotels.com). For a room worth $131, in-spite of booking it in advance, I ended up paying $205.

Pillows and mattresses are very uncomfortable, the shower hasn’t enough pressure, miss lights on the bathroom, elevators are slowly, long lines on both ways,

North Tower was great. The hallway smelled like cigarettes but our room was clean and smelled nice. Room number 943. Was a corner room. Huge! Conjoined rooms if needed. Comfy king size bed. Also easy to get to the north tower from the casino vs the Chelsea. (Far walk!)

The stay was nice. Hotel.com should Be clearer using credit card during check-in very confusing. I did go to the front desk and the receptionist explain steps when 3rd party travel sites are involved. The property charged my credit card for cost of the room when I paid Hotel.com on-line.

When we got to our room, the thermostat read 87 degrees. We immediately turned it down as low as possible (68 degrees). Mind you, it was in the 40's outside. We dropped our bags off and walked around for 2 hours, then went back to the room to relax, however that wasn't possible due to the room still being 82 degrees with the most stale air i've ever encountered.
I called the front desk to request a new room and was told they would have somebody come "fix the air conditioning" within 2 hours. I questioned if that was even possible, and they said yes. Trying to not be a pain, I said "Ok, thank you." We then left the room to go find somewhere comfortable to hang out while we waited for the air to be fixed...this resulted in unnecessary money being spent because that's all you can really do there besides hang out in the room.
We get back to the room two hours later and it was now 79 and the vent had a slightly cool breeze coming out of it. We figured the person "fixed it" and tried to just get comfortable and wait for the room to cool down. This never happened. We waited another two hours in the room before the concert we were going to, but the air just kept remaining around 80 degrees. At this point we packed up all of our stuff and walked down to the front desk. Waited about 45 mins on line (for the second time that day) to request a new room. They did give us a new room, but this room just sucked. Will never return to the tropicana after this.

Nice room in the Havana Tower. Check in staff listened to me and located my room the way I requested. This is always important to me.
I did not know I did not have housekeeping service for my second day until check in. Went to housekeeping got fresh towels so not the end of the world
Nice casino but far too much smoke in the bar near the sports betting.
Should be some arrangement for comp drinks other than the platinum card. Hard Rick had a play minimum then you can get comp drink … this in my opinion is fair

Overall the stay was great, however one of the room was ridiculously hot. It too an entire day for a maintenance guy to fix it. Service was great but a quicker response would’ve made the stay amazing.

I was upgraded and there was no room service the room was not cleaned daily I had to ask for towels and the entire floor stunk of marijuana that it overpowered the room.

The rooms have a string smell, they need to be aired out, lamps are not very bright, the hotel hallways, clearly need an upgrade. Unfortunately the prices are not whatyoupay for; also the front desk manager che cked us in, and maybe she forgot that the room numbers are never said outloud; but she did, which surprised me. Valet parking takes over 30 minute wait. If the hotel is sold out, talk to who is in charge of valet parking so you can plan accordingly.

Truly horrible staff. They should close, fire everybody, and start over.
