The hotel is very near to the slope for the resort, less 2 mins of walking. Dry room is located in the basement level Restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable price. Supermarket is just right across the street The only down side is it can be a little bit noisy during the late night on the main street.

The only negative I can say about my experience is that check-in is at 3pm (no earlier), which is fine until you get charged 500yen just to store your bags until a room is available.

The hotel is located about 8 mins walk uphill from the bus stop, if the path is not wet and slippery. I stayed at room 405, with a view of ski resort but windows cannot be opened. The 2nd night, I was waken in the midnight by noise of dripping water outside, it snowed heavily outside. there were false alarms calling from 4am. No one staff has explained what happened and calmed down their customers. The false alarm stopped at 10 eventually. I found the floor was wet, but not closed to the windows. Believed the wet is leakage from upper floor where onsen is there. When I had breakfast in the restaurant, I could see everyone was exhausted.
