Our tub was full off pubic hair. Manager offered to comp 1/2 the price. You need to call Travis Jones 218-628-3691. Thank you

Stay was fine , but we were told they had Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits in the morning, we’ve been there 2 notes, haven’t seen any!

The facility is in the process of changing owners so the pictures of the room on web site did not reflect my room. I was looking forward to the wood walls giving it a cabin feel retreat. The beds and pillows, however, were wonderful and I had the best night sleep!! I had booked a balcony room but I arrived early so room was not ready but they had a patio room so I took that room. It was not a patio-just a cement slab. I booked the facility as I was looking for a pool and hot tub, but hot tub was down so I was disappointed in that. Despite that issue, I would stay again. Staff, front desk, breakfast area were wonderful. I know the above issues will be resolved during transition. Keep up the good work!

Room was clean and newly remodeled. New beds. Lots of options for breakfast. Staff was kind. No hot tub. Kids enjoyed the pool though.

friendly employees with good breakfast variety. clean rooms at a convenient location and fair price

Great for the price if you are looking for a hotel outside of Duluth at half the price of those by the Canal, and just a room to sleep after venturing out all day. It is starting to be ran down but they still try to make it nice. The sauna and whirlpool were shut down which they did not tell guest unless you ask. Overall it was a good stay.

The bathroom sink plug was dirty when pulled out (accidentally) but overall the room was decent for the cost.

There was poop all over the bathroom wall towels coverd in hair toilet still had pee on the seat there was a hot tub advertised but no hot tub did not get the room i actually booked it is not handicap accessible

Breakfast was sure yourself and very good. Bed was comfortable, room temperature was adjustable AND you could program the fan to run continuously. Big plus!!! There was tv menu to go with tv, another plus. The only con was no elevator. Make sure to call and make sure you are not on the third floor.

Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was nothing special. No elevators. You get what you pay for.

This hotel is in rough shape, especially for the price I paid. Walking down concrete steps that seemed like they had shifted over time to the front door was not a good start. Our room was a wreck. Peeling paint, a huge cobweb with a large spider occupied one corner, the door was crooked so you could see into the lobby and the white comforter and pillow had dirt stains on them. One wall a picture had clearly been taken down and they painted right over the screws that it had hung from. The tv remote for not work and there was no hot tub. We were there for a quick overnight, originally had two nights booked, I’m glad we didn’t stay.

Nice Hotel just off the highway. Google took us in the back way but, still easy to find. They are in the process of rebranding and the sign had both names at the entrance but just the new name on the awning above the door so, it was a bit confusing. Room was nice and clean. Will stay again for the price.

This was a very nice hotel all in all. The beds were comfortable, and the location was great because it was close to the main highway that went into the city. We would stay there again. I would put some money into fixing the stairs to the front door. They were a little iffy.
1.5
The parking lot(s) are horrible. The stairs down to the main entrance are terrible and the wobbly railing was no help. The rooms were so-so, not worth what we paid. The hotel was reportedly short staffed and under renovation, so keep that in mind. Hope they can keep working to make this hotel better

Very loud AC. Good value.

It was an average to below average experience. But it serve it point of a one night stay.

Had great stay, room was clean

It was ok. It was ok for us just needing it for one night and for sleeping.
We moved our daughter into college.

We were located in the last room by the back door. They had remodeled our room. Mattress was comfortable- not too firm or too soft. I like that the floor is not carpeted. So floor vinyl- can be sweep & mopped. The last room is close to door where people exit if leaving early in am- so there is nose from door closing each time someone goes out.

Terrible property

People at the desk were very friendly. Let us know that the hot tub was broken.
Rooms were recently remodeled so everything in our room was new.
2.0
Pros: The staff is excellent and friendly. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from Canal Park. And the room was recently updated.
Cons: From within our room, the stay was not entirely quiet: we could hear other doors open and close to other rooms, and we heard the ice machine every time some used it. The “natural light” light bulbs in the room feel harsh and unwelcoming. And styrofoam dishes for the continental breakfast is not sustainable.

All was good except the pool water was cold and hot tub was not operational. Grandkids were disappointed about that.
2.0
Pool was not heated, was freezing. Hot has not been working FOR SEVEN YEARS !!!!!
First room had no heat, so moved & had heat & AC
Breakfast not great, not terrible. Sugary yogurt, tough hard boiled eggs, waffles, muffins & breads etc were ok.

The motel itself was mediocre at best. The swimming pool heater is broken, thus the water is ice cold. The employee did not tell us that tidbit upon check in. The hot tub and sauna are "under construction" i.e. broken and unavailable. The beds are new-ish...the old ones are still out back in dumpsters. This facility has lots of stairs and no elevator. Parking lot was full too. Motel is near a gas station and fast food. Also near the highway.
2.5
I go here at least once or twice a year and I'm very satisfied with it I would give them a five-star rating on condition if only they would get the hot tub and the sauna working again it's been out of service for probably about 5 years otherwise it's definitely a five-star experience

Had problems to find hotel. The name was different. And front desk person said it was not the place. Had to circle around due to the construction.

Did not like the HWY entrance

Nice clean place to stay , pool was ice cold . Good breakfast! Cost good for a 1 day stay .

This place was bogus, freezing cold pool. Hot tub and Sauna was shutdown for healthcode violations. Floor is shower stall was rotted out underneath, AC blowing warm air. Advertised as Balcony, but was a broken concrete slab with 6'x2' of sitting space, requested compensation and was blow off.
2.0
Our electricity/lights didn’t work, sauna was not working, there was a hole in our wall with paper towel shoved into it, and our door was extremely difficult to close.
2.5
We love to stay here, it’s easily accessible from the freeway, friendly efficient check in, all remodeled, comfortable with food nearby. Very close to Duluth, just a quick drive to Duluth
3.0
Our room was clean and the bathroom was okay. The property was strangely built and the first floor was actually down a precarious dirt ramp. There was piles of old mattresses and other construction stuff all around our side of the facility.
4.0
First impression: overly cleaned - strong disinfectant smell to air out on arrival.
Stay: Pleasant. Nice bath/shower. Fine Breakfast. Quiet.

It was ok. When we got to our initial room there were no sheets On bed and comforters were off to the side. Also no towels or shAmpoo/ conditioner. I spoke
To front desk and she switched us rooms. Said they had just gotten slammed during the weekend and short staffed.
4.0
They are in the middle of renovations, new beds, room updates. Front entrance is not handicapped accessible only the side doors. Room updated/remodel looks great. Breakfast is simple, waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal.
Gas station next door has lots of food/small grocery options. Not a bad stay if you’re okay with simple breakfast
