Excellent hotel and installations. Great for couples. If you plan to make some visits around the place, you will need your own transportation. It's far from everywhere.

The property, facilities, and personal was great. The only negative point was Sebastian, the guy from restaurant, he was not very kind on his manners when he talked about the hair of my pet. I guess for 300 usd per night he could clean the chair where my pet was sitting.

It's a really nice hacienda with a beautiful surrounded area. It's a bit used already. It would need here and there some new paint. But it has a lot of charme

The place is amazong, well worth visiting. The rooms need renovation. The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle, so you have to expect insects and spiders. The problem was that the windows and doors didn’t kept them out, as they wouldn’t close completely. So we have a few visitors at night, spiders and a frog. Anyway, the hotel and place are amazing and unique.

The grounds upon entry were gorgeous and I had such high expectations. For clarity, this was the fifth hacienda we stayed in under the luxury collection in Mexico, so the bar had been set previously by the Santa Rosa, San Jose, Campeche, and Temozon haciendas. This one, while I get they want to maintain eco-consciousness and I get it’s in nature, we arrived with a rental car and three kids, which were swarmed with mosquitoes when we tried to get our stuff and kids out of the car. We’ve been to Mexico so we expect mosquitoes but this was crazy. It’s rainy season, but the hotel should really power wash off the moss on the walkways because it’s dangerously slippery. We had a frog in the room, a swarm of stinging ants in the bath, the bathtub itself has clearly not been cleaned in a very long time, the toilet struggled to flush, and the staff in the restaurant seemed annoyed by our presence which was a stark contrast from the other places, and the roof was leaking from the rain. My last complaint is the hallway wasn’t sealed off completely from outside, so mosquitoes easily got in. I generally don’t mind nature when I’m in nature, but want the room to be a refuge from further exposure, especially with my kids, from the elements.
It just seems like it’s not being well maintained, which is a massive bummer.
I will say they did let us check out super early (about 5 AM) and had a box of fruit for us since breakfast wasn’t available yet and that was very nice of them.

This property is lovely and the rooms are ample, clean and have everything you need. The service was very good. We toured this old hacienda with one of the landscape managers that had been on the property many years. On Sunday they cooked cochinita pibil and lechon in a traditional Mayan pit and served this for the midday meal. We have been to many haciendas around the area; most are nice, but most do not have excellence across all categories. We will return whenever we can.

Takes your breath away as soon as you get in to the property, the huge ceiba tree, the chapel and the pool are the jewels of the hacienda, the staff makes you feel like the owner of the place the only detail was that the room bar was completely empty, they have for sale different packages with drinks and snacks, they could’ve thrown a couple of drinks with the room and would make them look top notch.

Beautiful and unique hotel. Each room is its own separate structure surrounded by vegetation, very private. Staff was great from start to finish. Restaurant food was good too, especially the local dishes.

We enjoyed our getaway at Hacienda Uayamon. We had stayed at other haciendas in this group of hotels in the Yucatan so knew generally what to expect. The grounds and setting are spectacular within a tropical forest. Due to covid concerns we did not opt for housekeeping during our 2 night stay even though it was available. The bed was quite comfortable and internet signal was fine.
The property was renovated in 2000 so the cement bathtubs and stone finishes are a bit worn so it seems time for a little refurbishing but during this difficult period in the hospitality industry that will be in the future.
The restaurant offered a good breakfast and the dinner menu included a number of regional specialties. Salads were fresh and service was good.
We wrote ahead and scheduled a birding tour at 7:00 one morning with a local guide which was a lovely way to start the day. The staff also offers a hacienda tour for those who wish to learn more about the history of the place.
The pool is quite dramatic and has changing rooms adjacent so you don't have to go back to your casita in a wet suit. Wifi worked well here.
I would definitlely consider returning sometime in the future. Unless you are visiting the Mayan ruins at Edzna about 38 kilometers away, there isn't too much to see here but the beach and the city of Campeche are nearby.

We had a brief yet amazing stay at the Hacienda Uayamón. While a bit remote, the grounds, service, and amenities makes your stay feel like an enchanting escape. We dined at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast (delicious!) and took advantage of the unforgettable pool area, which is reserved in 2-hour blocks.
Our suite was located the furthest away, beautiful, spacious, and luxurious. Finally to cap our 24hr stay we were given a personal tour by one of the long-time groundskeepers of the hacienda and gardens, telling us the history of the land and the the plants and trees on site. Truly and unforgettable experience that we hope to have again sometime soon!
p.s. Regarding COVID-19 measures, face masks are worn by all, workers and guests, throughout the property, and hand sanitizers are readily available.

Amazing property secluded in the rainforest! The pool was fantastic. They were out of several things in the restaurant but we really enjoyed our time there!

The hacienda is beatiful! It has only 12 rooms and during our stay it was 50%of occupancy, therefore we very rarely saw other guests, we felt the Hacienda was just for us.
The pool is amaizing for relaxing!
I Strongly recomend the hacienda for a relaxing weekend!

This is an extremey beautiful and exclusive hotel but the tropical jungle which it is inside of makes for extreme dampness in the rooms and lots of bugs. Might of been the time of year but humidity was so great that bedsheets were damp and turning air conditioning on and off generated puddles on the floor! Lots of bugs as well. A scorpion strolling around the bath tub and wasp attacks in the swimming pool didn't help!

Is a great opportunuty to stay in a henequen (sisal) hacienda, it conbines some parts of the building not remodeled and not conditioned so one can see how demolished and abandoned it was when henequen business collapse. There is a fantastic, great, huge ceiba! so if you are interested in trees you are going to love it

I've stayed at some amazingly wonderful places across the globe and the Hacienda Uayamon is right up there with the best of them. It's not because it's a member of the Luxury Collection; without saying, it's a fine 'hotel' on that account; no, it's more because of the location and atmosphere - located 21kms inland from Campeche, it's a former landed estate that blends well renovated buildings with the impressive ruins of others; both of which give you a glimpse of its former grandeur. The hotel staff were always polite, responsive, and genuinely interested to talk to you and share cultural and historic information. As for the Uayamon Restaurant, the cuisine was exceptional! We cancelled some of our plans just so that we could relax and enjoy and photograph the place. Mosquitoes were no problem although a large spider that managed to find refuge under our camera bags gave me a start! We had two wonderful nights there, but we plan on returning and spending many more!
