This hotel is one of our favorites. The front desk staff are always kind and so helpful, we especially liked Ryan on this visit! What a great guy! The rating for cleanliness is lower because our bathroom was not very clean, sink water would barely drain and the shower was pretty dirty with what we assume is mold. If bathrooms were updated a little this would get a 5 star rating for cleanliness!

Excellent value. Courteous and helpful staff. Sadly, the strip mall in the area is dying a slow, horrible death, and the city maintained walkways and bridge are littered with potholes. This hotel is a West Lafayette anchor that is not as pretentious and more conveniently located than the overpriced property across the traffic circle.

I was worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but our experience couldn't have been better! No construction going on that we saw or were aware of. Everything was fresh and clean, and the room was very quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was renovated. Most employees were not very nice. Only polite. There was one that didn’t even bother to answer my question. One of the rooms that we got was good. But the other was the bathtub was in a terrible condition, and also was the toilet.

DONT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. They dont clean the room during your stay. They give you a paper at check in saying “if you need room clean please request it at front desk”. We did that and the answer was “no. Rooms are not cleaned daily, just every other day”. Other day we did it again and answer was “no, you needed to request it one day before”. Maybe I should pay for my stay “every other day”. Im paying for a hotel not an airbnb. Im paying for an hotel so I can have a clean, refreshed room. So out of 5 days, 3 days my room was not cleaned. Very strong VOC smell in the room. Only had one time room service in 4 nights. Didn’t get any instruction on parking. They should complete the renovation and then do the business.

We stayed here for one night as we brought our daughter to town for a school function at the University. The hotel is under total reconstruction. You have to walk through tarps to check in. Pretty much climb over everything from paint to drywall just to get to your room. Had to walk under scaffolding to enter the building. This location needs to be closed until renovation is done.

Everything was good. Because of weather, I added an extra day to my stay. Your staff accommodated this so we would not need to change rooms. The renovation did not impact our stay at all. Even the construction crew was very kind & helpful. The only problem we had was with the TV. About every 15 seconds, a message would pop up, freezing the broadcast. We contacted the Front Desk. They sent Maintenace to the room......Could not fix the problem. We had asked the Front Desk to correct the problem during the day, while we were at the Race. Nothing was done. As I checked out, I should have asked for some consideration since the TV was a valuable resource for making our plans, based on the weather. FYI....Hilton Garden Inns have become our hotels of choice. From Minneapolis, to Kansas City, the consistency, cleanliness, & service has been very consistently good. Other hotel chains have not been so good, we avoid them. Kudos to Hilton Garden Inns!!!! Thanks, John
