The room was tiny, not much more then a bed and bathroom. Room was at the end of the Hall and there were bags full of trash in the hallway two out of the three days I was there

We were rooming on the top floor by the elevator. The elevator noise made a lot of loud thumps during the night which made for a terrible night sleep.

We arrived at the hotel at 1 AM in the morning after a long travel day and they told us they had canceled our reservation and sold our rooms to someone else. They were essentially overbooked. I would never recommend staying here to anyone. The lobby was dirty and chaotic when we walked in and the service was terrible.

I had a life changing emergency occur and was unable to keep my reservation. When I tried to get a refund, the hotel denied it. Now. This charge that we did not even stay, will create an unexpected hardship on my family. I understand policies, but where is the human compassion? Terrible experience.

At check-in, a gentleman (front desk employee) seemed inconvenienced by helping me. I was assigned a room, and asked if there was one on a higher floor and with a better view. He told me no. I went up, checked the room, was dissatisfied, came back down and then spoke with a young lady (another front desk employee) who was able to accommodate my request of a higher floor and better view. Disappointed with my initial interaction and the gentelman's unwillingness to accommodate my request. The remainder of the short stay was completely fine.

Great location! Steps from Macy’s, close to transit, easy walk to central locations. The rooms were good size for a city hotel and both clean and comfortable. Staff was very attentive. We'll definitely stay here again

Overall, stay was fine. The view from my room was really nice. Housekeeping was friendly and one of the ladies that helped me with reservations was very helpful.
Some of the people at the front desk have attitude. You can’t inconvenience them in any way…they were edgy and willing to put the customers in check. They not only did it to me, but I also witnessed it to someone else.
When I walked into my room, the room was unbearably hot. The thermostat was set to 65 but it felt like it was over 100 degrees in there. Had to call for maintenance, which took over 15 minutes, so I couldn’t even wait inside my room. Front desk guy gave me attitude about calling back to see how long it would take for maintenance to come up.
Maintenance guy came and fixed it. He had to do something manually and then it was fine.

Great hotel in excellent location. The only negative is the breakfast. It is not good.:( I prepaid and regretted. Eat somewhere else. Otherwise everything was wonderful. Anthony at the front desk is a gem. Great staff.

Excellent service and very clean throughout. Central for most activities.

First time in NY. I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for the convenience of having everything you need within walking distance. The staff was friendly and saved us $20 on our transportation back to LaGuardia.

Convenient midtown location for pretty much everything we wanted to do. Subway close. Walking distance to MSG was definitely a plus. Clean rooms, friendly staff. We actually did have a view of the Empire state building! you just had to crouch down and look up! A little noisy sometimes but hey it was NY!

Hotel rooms are a lot smaller than they appear and the elevator wait time can go up to 10-15 minutes on check-out mornings.
