I hope this review helps with making decisions about staying at the Colibri. First, the common area, rooms, and pool are super nice like the pictures. However, especially on weekends the music is very loud and goes until about 3 am. After multiple car alarms, sirens, and road noise of a big city, it starts to wear on the nerves. The locals and fire dept next door really get going at 7 am. So if you're 20-some and can function on 3 hours of sleep, you're golden. Unfortunately, I am not. The lack of sleep over the 8 day did anything but "recharge the battery". We needed quality sleep so badly that we stayed at the Casa Del Mar on the south part of the island even though we already had a room at the Colibri just to try and catch up on our sleep. We prefer the local culture vibe versus swanky all inclusive where don't experience as much, but next time we'll make different decisions. I messaged the owner/manager about what nights to expect the music and to inquire about moving to a quieter room on the 1st floor, but no one ever responded. The help at the desk just told us they were full, even through Expedia showed availability. The walls are quarter inch drywall with no insulation, so with the thatch roof, you might as well be sleeping on the sidewalk. I can't speak for all the rooms, but DO NOT STAY IN SABAL! Stick with something on the 1st floor. Also, at least with the Sabal room, the bathroom is not in the room. You have to walk across a stairwell to get to it and th
