I’m trying to resolve an issue since September 23rd. The property fraudulently charged my credit card $500 after I had sent them pic of the front & back via iMessage and upon calling/questioning I was told it took them 4-5 days to clean my room so they charged me for $88 a night hence deducting $500 from my card even after I had long checked out!! I’ve contacted my bank & I was blocked on call by the manager.Owner; if you’re reading this please address this it’s not $5 it’s about $500 stolen from me.

Our room was ok. The deposit was very high for what you got. Not much to choose from for breakfast . I booked to rooms, the second room for our friends wasn’t even actually a room it was a made up room in the basement level because they over booked

This was a hotel, then a senior's apt, now a hotel again. The rooms are nice but fairly plain, no view or anything. Beds are good. Things are nice and clean. Soap/shampoo is pretty basic, no kleenex if that matters. The area is beset by homeless, but it's literally steps from the downtown shops and restaurants so it's kind of a mixed bag there. Breakfast is bare bones: cereal, milk, waffles and toast, but there is a full kitchen just around the corner so you can buy groceries and cook up 3 meals a day. There's a nice lounge downstairs with library, chairs, shuffle board... Overall we enjoyed our stay, and being 1/2 mile from where our kids live, we'll be back!

Door was locked at 9pm for safety completely understandable, 2 ways to contact front desk door bell and phone number , i called number 6 times no answer left voicemail not a nice one , rang doorbell 20 times waited outside for 15 min no place to sit , got dropped off by shuttle . After check in everything else was fabulous other than clogged leaking sink. Sheets were soft , bed was very comfortable, very quiet , breakfast included limited but nice especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at this charming, older hotel in the heart of downtown, and it exceeded all expectations. While the building may show its age in some areas, the property is very well-maintained, which adds to its character and appeal. One of the standout features of this hotel is the staff. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Every interaction with the team, from the front desk to housekeeping, made us feel like a valued guest. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, accommodating special requests with ease and always doing so with a smile. It's rare to find such a consistently caring and helpful staff these days. The room itself was cozy, with a comfortable bed that made for a great nights’ sleep. Despite being located in the downtown area, the hotel manages to maintain a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the rooms were, allowing us to unwind after a busy day. Overall, this hotel may not be the newest or flashiest option, but it more than makes up for it with its well-kept facilities, unbeatable service, and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay with a personal touch in the heart of the city.

The Medicine Hat Villa is an excellent place to stay. The location is a beautiful walk to the coulee and walkable to the Main Street where there is a few good restaurants to dine at. The rooms are big, very clean, comfortable bed and a good size bathroom. The breakfast was very good but it would be better if they had eggs, sausages/bacon and some fresh fruits. All in all it’s a good find and we will be returning on our next trip out west!!

The property is in the heart of old downtown and around the corner is a Fantastic open air pub with great food. Its a nice old hotel thats been modernized. Friendly staff, fairly clean, though there was a dirty rag behind our bathroom door and a used coffee filter in the machine. Bit of a sketchy neighborhood if you're out walking but thats every city. Front door is always locked. Breakfast is super basic but free. Basically the room wasn't terrible for the price I would probably stay again just not across from the laundry facility.

Great place to stay! The employees were excellent and very helpful! The beds were comfy and the sheets were fantastic. The biggest issue was related to finding the location because Google kept leading me to the back of the building, but there is no visible signage from the alley. Otherwise, a great place to spend a night in Medicine Hat.

What a great hotel for such a good price. Extremely friendly staff, clean room, quiet. The only 2 minor issues were there were no tissues in the room and no mirror in the main room. Breakfast was a bit limited. But, like I said, for the price, it was EXCELLENT!

Best budget hotel yet. I travel a lot and value for money this is the only place I would now stay at in Medicine Hat. Liked the communal kitchen and parking was easy. Staff very friendly.
