The room was nice with the sofa/kitchenette. But prior review referencing noise was accurate. We were in an upstairs room and you could hear the party going on in the lobby/bar. Adjacent room TV was audible through the wall. It wasn’t so bad that you couldn’t sleep but an inconsiderate neighbor could easily ruin your stay. There’s a reason they supply ear plugs…

It's a boutique hotel in Tyler, Tx with 8 rooms. It is not the upscale hotel one would expect for $300 per night. If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of downtown Tyler and you want to experience the downtown life without having to drive back to your hotel after a night out, this is an option. However, it is no more grand than the other Hilton/Marriott hotels in the area that are half the price. You'll pay for the convenience of being downtown.
PRO's: Cozy hotel, comfortable bed, hardwood flooring, suite options, convenience to downtown attractions, bar options on hotel site until 10 PM, friendly hotel staff, quiet
CON's: No elevator (2 floors), carpet in bedroom was slightly dirty, water stains on bathroom counter and grime on soap dispenser, water stains on living table, continental breakfast only offered KIND bars/products and coffee, no one physically on staff late at night, parking.
Again, you're paying for the location, but ultimately this is a basic hotel room.

No elevator was a real inconvenience. Also a better system to assist with bags would be a plus

Probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at and I stay at over 200 a year. Felt like a small apartment and the bed/bedding was great. Would definitely return.

Rooms were spacious and clean! A small boutique hotel that is modern and chic. Conner and the entire staff were wonderful and accommodating with anything we needed. I love the fresh coffee and Village bakery pastries (A Tyler staple) they provided every morning. The next time I’m coming to Tyler I will only stay here!

We enjoyed our visit at the Thomas hotel when traveling to Tyler, Texas. It was a very safe and secure hotel, requiring personal codes to enter . The lobby was very welcoming and comfortable, with a bar to order a beverage. Connor was on staff the majority of our time there and he went above and beyond for excellent service. He was friendly and helpful in finding a place to eat. There were several fine dining and table service restaurants within 1-2 blocks of the hotel, all very good.
The hotel was clean and smelled great, even in the hallway. It really was a little home away from home.
Parking was either street parking or a garage spot for one car around the corner. Not bad considering in most cities you’re forced to pay valet at exorbitant rates. We don’t mind a short walk, and there were front door spots to unload, so it was a non-issue for us.
The room had a nice sitting/kitchenette area. Bedroom was clean and neat with good amount of outlets. Bathroom was clean as well, a little tight with the door often in the way and shower was small (and I’m 5’2” at 120#’s). But it had great pressure and served the purpose. Also didn’t have a dirty curtain blowing at my legs the whole time, so I’ll take a little clean and tight shower.
Highly recommend a visit to this hotel when in Tyler. It beats the typical box hotels by far!

The room was great. The staff was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Only issue was the noise on the street, but there were earplugs provided and things got quiet before bed.
