Summary:
Perched on a hill overlooking gorgeous farmland and the Blue Ridge Mountains, this home features breathtaking views from the sweeping front porch, 5 outdoor sitting areas including a large table for alfresco dining, main and upper level porches, and tons of privacy. Amenities include luxury mattresses and bedding, sound machines and light blocking blinds/curtains, a private study for remote work, a gas grill, 55 inch roku TV, outdoor swing, kid’s supplies and local coffee.

The Space:
The total privacy of Birdie is ideal for relaxing at home, while being just 5 minutes from downtown Weaverville and 15 from downtown Asheville. Perfect for families and seasonally decorated, this spacious four bedroom four bathroom home comfortably sleeps six adults and four kids. It features two master bedrooms with ensuite baths (one on the main level, one on the upper level). Both masters and the third bedroom have king size Goldilux beds with a quantum coil system and a cooling copper infused gel quilt. Luxurious sateen sheets and 2 sets of pillows offering different softness levels will ensure you get a good sleep at your home away from home. All bedrooms are separated by a bathroom and do not share adjoining walls. The bunk room has two sets of bunks and sleeps four people. Adults are welcome to sleep in the bunk room but please note the bunk beds have a weight limit of 200lbs. To sleep 12 people, 2 rollout floor mattresses are available upon request. Kid’s pack & play (with sheets), dinnerware, silverware, sippy cups and a high chair are all available.

This stunning farmhouse has been updated to be an ideal gathering place for families and friends. The large kitchen/dining area is well equipped for home cooking. With a spacious grassy yard there's lots of room to run around and play. The parking area fits four cars, with additional parking available at the bottom of the hill when needed. Local recommendations for massage, food delivery, hiking, dining and more provided on check in.

The Neighborhood:
Downtown Weaverville and its charming shops and restaurants are just 5 minutes away. The nearest grocery store (ingles) is 2.5 miles away. The surrounding area features beautiful rolling hills. Please note there is an industrial looking building down the hill within your line of site from the porch. While at Birdie you may see a fox, bear or wild turkeys roaming the area. Nearby activities include 6 golf courses, hiking, waterfalls, skiing, and sightseeing on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are over 60 breweries to visit in Asheville, and 2 in downtown Weaverville. Explore Asheville’s incredible restaurants and don't forget to stop by Weaverville’s own Stoney Knob Cafe, Glass Onion Italian, and Yellow Mug for coffee.

The property was stunning and peacefully! Quick drive into the small town city center or 10-15min drive to downtown Asheville. Our host was super responsive and nice. While we didn't have any children on the trip, the place was well equipped if you had little ones in toe. Overall, great experience and I would highly recommend.

My sister and I rented this lovely home for a week in March. We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed how spacious and clean it was. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. The king beds were very comfortable and my daughter and niece enjoyed the bunkbeds. Our middle schooler geeked out on the pacman video game. We explored downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, NC Arboretum and drove to Brevard two days to hike several waterfalls. Kids also loved riding horses at Sandy Bottom Trail Rides. The grocery store (Ingles) right down the street had everything we needed. We would recommend this rental and would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Birdie and would definitely return! We loved the proximity to everything in Weaverville and being just a 15 min drive to Asheville. The kitchen is well stocked and the house is both beautiful and cozy. Highly recommend!

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Birdie! This place is beautiful…every little detail of the guest was thought through. Most memorable moment was sitting around the large kitchen table playing games with deer walking by the window! Totally recommend and absolutely would be back!

We loved our time at the Birdie house. It was impeccably clean and well decorated. Plenty of room for everyone. Enjoyed the sitting room at the front of the house and the swings on the front porch. Loved the little touches. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

Annual Family Trip we do every year with parents, in-laws and kids. Great house with nice amenities and very clean. House has everything you need to cook and entertain. Covered front porch has a swing and several rocking chairs. Host was very responsive to all communications.

This totally "remodeled farmhouse" was gorgeous! It was very accommodating for our old friends' reunion. We had three couples so the bedrooms and bathrooms worked out perfectly. The kitchen and dining area were very modern and functional. We had a great time in Weaverville!

8 girls and myself stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my bachelorette! Our stay wonderfully satisfied all that I was looking for; beautiful weather, cute updated house off the beaten path, and room for everyone. The only thing I would mention is the Lyft situation. If you are staying without a vehicle, be sure to schedule your Lyft in advance for a specific pickup time. Once we learned this trick we had no issues!

We visited the Asheville area during a fall break and really enjoyed the house. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. We had plenty of room to spread out and the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. We only ate breakfast at the house but had everything we needed in the kitchen. I appreciated nice touches like nightlights, plenty of towels, basic spices (salt, pepper, sugar), and a lovely welcome basket with a bottle of wine!

We loved this place, good location and close to Asheville. Nice touch that they provided coffee and a polaroid camera. Plenty of room and just a lovely home. The only problem is that we requested a late checkout and were told 1:00 would be fine. Stayed up late and woke up at 10:00 to an email that said there were last-minute renters and we needed to be out by 10:00. We agreed that we could be out by 11:00, the actual checkout time. We had also planned on making a late breakfast and had to throw away extra food. Everyone had to rush around getting all of their things together. I think if there were last-minute renters, they would understand that they couldn't get in until later than normal. Overall it was a great rental, but that made for a frustrating and hurried end to our stay.

My friends and I had a girls weekend at Birdie and could not have been more pleased! It was spotless, safe, and so beautifully designed. The decor and accommodations were everything we could have wanted. We loved how quiet the area was and how private the home felt. We loved spending time together in the living room watching movies, drinking coffee together on the porch, and making wonderful meals in the kitchen! Everything was perfect and we can’t wait for our next trip here! Thank you for such a great stay!

We absolutely loves our girls weekend here! The house was super cute, and conveniently located to downtown Asheville. The welcome basket with the Polaroid camera and wine was so fun and thoughtful! Plenty of parking and great views of the surrounding countryside. I’d say the only issue we had was the expresso machine listed was out of commission, the ice maker did not work for us, and the shower pressures weren’t very good. Plenty of kitchen tools for cooking and serving which we loved. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house was perfect for our trip with several families with young kids. The kids loved the tree swing and porch swing, and there were plenty of sleep options with the bunk beds and folding mattresses. The house is in a nice quiet area but very close to downtown Weaverville and only 15 min or so from downtown Asheville.

We had a great stay at the Birdie house! We came to a clean and organized house! We appreciated the welcome basket that was left for us! There was even some fun bachelorette wine glasses that we used! The house is in a beautiful location overlooking some cow pastures. Overall we had a great weekend at the Birdie house! We recommend this house to everyone! Thank you for sharing your house!

We stayed with our church small group, no kids hahaha. We played a fun game to check which couple will be using the bunk beds. We all enjoyed our stay very much. It was the much needed relaxing weekend that we all needed. We agreed that this will be an annual trip from now on. Thank you for the sweet welcome basket that awaited us!

This beautiful home provided our family with the space to laugh, cry (happy tears!) and most importantly, be together. Everything about the home was warm and welcoming, with perfect spaces for little ones and those with limited mobility. We came a week before Christmas and the holiday touches felt extra special to everyone in the group. Birdie is everything it advertises and more.

This place was so beautiful, immaculately clean, extremely well equipped with very thoughtful hosts. We were in town for a funeral, so not exactly the happiest occasion, but this house went a long way towards helping us find peace. I would definitely recommend.

We rented this property last minute to visit family. We have been coming to Weaverville/Barnardsville for over a decade but have never stayed somewhere other than with family. We couldn’t have gotten luckier finding this gem. The home is a beautiful farmhouse that has been completely renovated so beautifully the pictures really don’t do it justice. I’m beyond jealous of the kitchen and bathrooms. If we didn’t live a few states away I would steal your contractor. We loved it so much my daughter decided we should just stay, so if anything you need to watch out you don’t end up with guests who won’t leave!
