Mold in the bathroom. No remote for the TV. Room had a disconcerting smell.

Ideal for bussiness trips

The room smelled and the handle was falling off the bathtub fixture

The room was acceptable and clean. I just think they should change the sheets after 2 nights. The staff is friendly and everything was more or less fine.

i would not recommend staying here. it was very dirty. we booked a room for two nights and the first night our room had a weird mildew smell and felt very humid. there was also dirt all over the bathroom floor and food stains on the bed. i don’t know if they clean the bed sheets regularly to be honest. they switched my room for me which was nice they were very nice at the front desk. the second room was slightly better until we decided to lay down and a roach fell out of my pillow case. we didn’t stay the second night and we weren’t able to get a refund for that second night either. me and my girlfriend were just in town to visit family 5 hours from home so it was all very stressful. oh and to top it all off there was a ton o creepy men around watching our every move.

Easy access, clean room. Was on the road and just needed a quick overnight and it was perfect for that. No frills, clean and safe. The girl at the front desk (I forgot her name) was super helpful and very sweet.

I wasn’t expecting 5-star for the rate I paid, but I was disappointed to find out the swimming pool was out of order. On the web site, it looked beautiful!😉 I was planning to use it. Carpet in my room could use a good cleaning. However, the breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly.

Unlike most motels and hotels in the US, the exterior doors were not locked. Anyone, including criminals, could make access to the interior hallways.
The room was clean and looked nice.
Some items were broken (toilet paper holder) or did not work efficiently.
The A/C unit was at it's lowest setting but the room was still uncomfortably warm.

The pillows were not clean. Carpet was in bad condition. Shampoo and conditioner was the old ones half filled.

The. Room. Smells

The worst stay ever. Brown filthy room. Bathroomdoor was unable to close, neither to move because they build the toilet in the way of the door range. Shower doesn’t work. Was happy the night was over and we could leave.

Staff was very friendly at check in. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Large area to park with a trailer. Close to multiple eateries. Easy access to major roadway. One of the sheer curtains was missing on the window. There was trash behind the refrigerator when I got to my room. Microwave was greasy inside and smelled like someone had just reheated chicken. TV had pixel lines all through the screen, like it had been dropped or something. Housekeeping chose to ignore the ‘do not disturb’ sign and tried to come in anyway. She immediately apologized and I was able to go back to sleep. Breakfast was good.

Do not stay at this Anything they want hotel, totally worn out and in bad shape. the staff and owners are horrible.
I paid in advance on Expedia and expected to pay the listed price. they refused to honor that, charging much more night by saying they are a franchise and they can charge any thing they want

dirty, worn . after paying an advance on Expedia, I expected to pay the listed pet fee instead I was charged a large amoun. They said they could charge anything they wanted because they were franchise. staff and owner were extremely rude and horrible

The air conditioner didn’t work properly. The room was so humid. The bathroom was grungy.

The property looks older with newer motels right next door, but it was pretty nice and comfortable and a good rate. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.

It was OK but biggest disappointment was the smell of the room, must have been a smoking room and that mixed with the deodorising was not pleasant - if you come here make sure you clarify that on check in.

When visiting college student in Abilene, this one's convenient and decently priced.

This hotel is very convenient for those wanting to be near ACU and local shopping. It's rooms have exterior entrances but the area is fairly safe. They are under renovation - mostly complete. Staff is pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good choice for a quick overnight stay.

We were not told in advance you were working on the hotel.Made some what of a problem for us.

When I received my room the bedding was on the floor. I reported it to the lobby and they informed me that they had just finished their inspection and were about to have a staff meeting. One of the nice ladies went to my room and changed the bedding and cleaned the bathroom area. I did report to the check out clerk that the toilet seat it moves when one stands up. Also, the tub had two round rings that looked oxidation on the water spout side. The bed linen was nice and clean and the pillows were so soft. I slept good. Thank you.

We stayed here on our way back home from Austin and had a great experience. The room was tastefully decorated, quiet, and relaxing. The "full" breakfast was abundant and even had a custom waffle maker shaped like the state of Texas! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We often stop at this hotel on our way to Lubbock, and we have always been happy with it. The rooms are very comfortable, the free breakfast is quite good, the employees are friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This is by far one nasty motel. Carpets reek of ground in foot traffic. The place was too nasty to brave the food line at breakfast.

Room is filthy. As soon as I opened the door, the light shone on the mirror and it was so dirty. If it hadn't been 1 a.m. I would have asked for another room. Phone wasn't working. When I called office, the attitude was "why do you need the phone?" Said it was ONLY for calling between rooms, not intended for calling from outside (I was trying to call the person I was sharing the room with, whose cell phone had been left at home.) Office insisted my friend wasn't there - couldn't be a phone problem! When I got back to the room, found it plugged in wrong. When I picked it up it was so dirty, I immediately dropped it to the floor and used a paper towel to pick it up! After that, I spent as little time as possible in the room and left the lights off as much as possible to not see anything else. The bathroom did seem fairly clean.

Clean place. Good price. Would stay again.

Close to colleges. I made my reservation and paid through hotels.com. When I checked my account after checking out, I noticed the hotel had billed me an additional 2 times all for the one night stay. Hotel.com did contact the hotel for me to rectify the problem. It was suppose to be credited to my account in 3-5 days. I trust it will be but it is only day 3. Room itself was fine.

This weekend was a getaway for me and my husband and it was all ruined by a hotel stay. The room smelled the key didn't open the first few times we tried even went to the front desk they just kept telling we were doing it wrong. Placement of the hotel was ok.

We asked if we could check in early and they were kind enough to allow us to do this. The problem was the hotel in general was very old it was horrible. The commode was about to fall over. Dead bugs in the corners and had been their for awhile. Their where living bugs as well. When I went to the office and spoke to the manager she advised me this was Texas and they were just beetles. She also blamed the new person(who cleaned the room) saying since we had asked to check in early she did not have time to inspect the room. I'm not looking to get anybody fired. I know we asked to check in early but I am surprised at how awful your rooms are. UPDATE your hotel. This Hotel was not up to standards. At least have somebody go and check out the hotel's. I would not be a proud employee. I am contacting Expedia as well I was so disappointed and I went to the front desk and advised I would not be staying in the Hotel. I also want to contact the BBB in Abilene. Joy Pancake

Just a perfect, Highway exit hotel, close to food and easy access to everywhere. Nice area behind hotel to walk dog

Staff didn't wear uniforms or name tags; kitchen visible, cluttered, dirty dishes and cabinets; kids ate breakfast and had stomach problems in the afternoon; outdated furniture; rubber baseboards stapled to wall; chipped paint; rusted bathroom hardware; musty smell. Needs to be upgraded.

Staff was great, clean rooms and amenities exceeded expectations. The price was outstanding,

This motel had roaches, nasty bathrooms, and the staff at the front desk were too busy holding hands with each other and watching tv to pay much attention to guests. I am attaching some pictures of the bathroom and roaches in the room. The only positive was that the beds were comfortable.
