Broughton Sanctuary
One of the UK’s finest wellness centres and activity based holiday destinations, Broughton Hall is located in Skipton, North Yorkshire and has featured widely as one of the best places to stay for relaxation, wellness and activities.
It features 22 stunning individual properties as well as the historic and beautiful Broughton Hall itself, which dates back to 1097, having been in the same family for 900 years.
Surrounded by amazing scenery and countryside, this resort offers a huge range of activities and wellness initiatives. Boasting the Avalon Centre, a dedicated state-of-the-art wellbeing retreat centre, they offer a number of classes, groups and sessions that can be booked separately.
The wider estate, being situated just next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offers excellent bike rides, walking trails, a mountain bike trail, catered picnic experiences for the summer months, woodland dining, forest bathing, foraging experiences and even a woodland sauna.

In the idyllic Broughton Village, 9 Bracken Road is the perfect Yorkshire holiday home, right on the doorstep of the world famous Yorkshire Dales National Park taking in all the scenery you’d expect in such a wonderful location.
The house itself has 3 spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 5 guests and has access to a beautiful private garden for you to enjoy. It’s also right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park so has an abundance of excellent walks and cycling trails right round the corner.
Further to that it’s part of the wider Broughton Sanctuary Estate which has the Avalon centre where you can book wellness activities and sessions to suit you. We’ll also include a free breakfast at Utopia too.
Within the wider estate you can enjoy woodland walks, wild swimming and even outdoor dining experiences, either non catered or catered. We even have a nature reserve within the grounds, allowing you to take in some truly unique wildlife during your stay.
The house itself has blended contemporary and unique interiors with modern features into the unique heritage and history of the building. You’re also within easy walking distance of an excellent local pub if you need to take a rest after a long stomp across the Dales.
