About this house rental
Welcome to our spacious 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom home on the outskirts of Wolverhampton on the Shropshire / South Staffordshire border, perfect for short-or longer-term stays.
Ideally located with easy access to Telford, Ironbridge, Cosford, Bridgenorth, Cannock, Kidderminster, Walsall, Stourbridge and Dudley. So whether you’re a family exploring the sights or contractors in the area, it’s a great location, with loads to do and equipped with everything you may need. Dogs are welcome too!
The New House is a privately gated large house, there is a large driveway with secure parking for 6 vehicles. Sitting in an acre of land it has a patio area and small woodland as well as lawned gardens. There’s a charcoal BBQ and fire pit as well as tables and chairs. (There’s a hot tub coming soon September time contact me for more details)
On entry to the house there is a glass staircase, off which there is a large living room with a table and extra seating, with a wood fired stove and patio doors that stetch out to the patio for those lovely warm days.
From the hallway there is a downstairs bedroom with two 3-foot single beds, there’s also a large downstairs bathroom with shower, so there’s no need to go upstairs ideal for people with mobility issues.
The dining room has a large table with extra seating, which has double doors linking it to the bar area and kitchen, making this a great space for entertaining. The dining room also has patio doors on to the patio for those times where its warm enough to eat outside.
The bar area is equipped with cocktail shaker and wine cooler, if you’d like these stocked for your stay please contact us for a price.
The kitchen has a little snug attached with round table and chairs as well as a breakfast bar so you can get involved whilst people are cooking! There is a gas fired range and large American fridge with the usual facilities you’d expect, including a pod coffee machine (Tassimo pods, there’ll be a couple to get you started but please bring your own).
Off the kitchen is a utility room with sink, washing machine and dryer, here you’ll find the, iron , ironing board, vacuum and mop and bucket for those of you that like to clean 😊
Ascend the glass staircase from the hall to the first floor where there are 6 bedrooms 5-ensuite and a family bathroom. All bedrooms have wardrobes or an open clothes rail. All with fresh clean bedding and towels.

There are two cracking pubs within walking distance, The Mermaid and The Field, both serve food and there’s a plethora of excellent curry houses to chose from, The Firs, a curry pub, is a particular favourite.
If sightseeing is your thing then there's lots of National Trust properties locally including Wightwick Hall and Gardens, Attingham Park, Benthall Hall and Dudmaston Hall. If golfing is your thing there’s two golf courses nearby and Dinosaur Adventure Golf for a great family day out.
Other attractions close by are Blists Hill Victorian Town Museum, West Midlands Safari Park, The Royal Air Force Museum, Boscobel House, Hoo Farm, The Black Country Museum…there is so much to do…..

Although the house is large and detached, we have neighbours, loud or late parties will not be tolerated. You may be asked to leave and charged.
Please note there is no facility currently to charge electric cars. If this is required, please contact me.
