Great budget spot on the island!

Very sweet family that runs this spot! I only stayed here one night but it has everything I needed for a budget stay! I had 1 single bed and 1 double bed, both of which had mosquito nets and lots of fans so I didn’t feel hot at all. I also had a small kitchen with a stovetop, sink and mini fridge which was great. Check in and check out was smooth and I would definitely recommend this spot to others!

Un petit bijou à Big Corn

Excellent emplacement ! Restaurants autour, plage devant avec snorkeling. La chambre est très aérée et bien équipée. Les lits sont confortables. Vilma est aux petits soins avec ses invités. Elle pourra vous faire visiter son jardin rempli d'herbes aromatiques. Un hôtel où on se sent comme chez soi !

Beautiful stay, worth every penny

I had a really good stay! The staff is kind and helpful, always smiling and there to help or give advices. The room was big and clean. Fully equipped. The beaches around are nice and this part of the island is wonderful for snorkling

The only thing is that I'm sensitive to smells and i could smell a sewer smell coming from the bathroom as soon as i entered the room, which is almost out of their control and common in central america It would be dissipated with the fan running

Our apartment was very clean and spacious. We had our own little kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. Villy was in the house next door.

Not the busy side of the island, but enough restaurants and a beach bar.

Exceptional

Everything! We had a little kitchen set up in our room which was well equipped. Lovely gardens to chill in, super peaceful. Close to the good snorkel sites (and the bakery) 2 double beds in our room. Everybody was amazing! We were given a pot of coffee and breakfast in the morning too, a nice surprise.

Lovely home

The little apartment with the the little kitchen perfectly furnished was great! There was also coffee provided and Villy surprised us with a fruit plate. There is nothing missing and Villy is a lovely woman! The beautiful garden with all the flowers is perfect to chill out and rest. The beach is just a one minute walk. It’s perfekt to swim relax and watching the sunset! We would come back everytime again!

very comfortable and enjoyable

The family running Villy's guesthouse is incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. They make you feel at home the moment you arrive. The property itself is gorgeous, in a lovingly maintained garden setting. The room is very well appointed with a kitchen and living area, and is very airy, clean, and comfortable. The beach across from Villy's is swimmable, and the neighborhood itself is the safest on Big Corn (not to mention there's a super tasty bakery next door). Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Villy's Cottage, and would definitely suggest to couples and single travelers looking for a quiet retreat while on the island. We look forward to returning as soon as possible - miss it there already!

The only thing I didn't like was leaving - can think of no real negatives.
