First day, Nadine asked me paying 64usd while Expedia told 61usd that made me show a proof. We had to deposit 100usd for allowing to check in. After coming room, we found out water into toilet didn’t fluent after using. Everything was floating on its face. I used messenger to text immediately to her because we couldn’t bear this. All was quiet until morning. Her husband talk like shouting to us,” here is not resort, all thing in toilet” while we just came about 2 hours. Then she was standing in front of my room with loudly words”no cheating, can move to another..” but don’t tell any money back. Why I can move when I paid all and plus deposit money? Welcome guests without any bottles of water only like that only half day they stay? Parking through website is free but she answered no any parking there although inside no any car. Kitchen was difficult finding any pots except some dishes and big bows, many warnings like removing shoes white the ground makes my foots become black after go in and out, should turn light or AC off when come out evenly half hours…Those made me so scary, no dare to use it any second. Cleaning fee charged but nothing to help although once I asked. At airport, when we just meet her, she helped by difficult to look for any bank excluding here that made us change more money than we expected. Finally we changed back and losing a lot! After coming home we are so regret after reading a new review about City Home Tahiti, I’m stupidest so much!

BEWARE! You are renting a room in a house. The way they advertise and the amount of $$ , one would think its a whole house. They will ask for additional deposit and a cleaning fee of dollars even though you may be sharing with 3 other ROOMS. In addition there are signs and rules for everything. I asked for a blanket and was told no. I used the washer dryer, was charged a fee and they changed the lock so no one else can access unless you ask permission. Location is so so . You are better off staying downtown in Polynesian Cabins by Kon TIKI. location is across from the ferry, clean and they dont ask for any additional fees.

Nadine is extremely responsive and helpful. She really cares about her guests. Our room is clean and the house has a nice kitchen and a spacious dining area. We enjoyed our stay.

I highly reccomend this as an affordable place to stay in Papatee. Its about a 10 minute walk to the town centre so its very well situated. The place itself is very well equipped with an excellent kitchen and comfortable couches and very good TV in the common area. They have parking available. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. The host Nadine is very accommodating and friendly. The only drawback I noticed was the sound of traffic that you can hear from the room.

My stay was great! First time in Tahiti, Nadine helped me out with everything, including an awesome safari tour. Highly recommend place to stay for less, bathroom, bedroom and entrance as an apartment detached. Walking distance to downtown. Very clean and disinfected so i felt comfortable in these covid times.

I had a fabulous stay at City Home Tahiti, great location and great value. It's located a mere 10 min walk to the ferry terminal and marina area with all the shops, markets and restaurants/bars. Nadine was an exceptional hostess and was very helpful in assisting me with arrangement of tours, taxis, transfers, restaurant dinners and shows.... you name it and she will be very helpful in assisting! I will definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Tahiti for business or pleasure, and will definitely stay here again on my next travel adventure to Tahiti.

Nadine’s property was an excellent choice for our time in Pape’ete. She picked us up from our international flight and transported us to the property free of charge. En route she pointed out the park with the famous evening food trucks, the covered city market, and more.
Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, and bathroom was tidy. Plenty of hot water for a shower.
Common area across the small courtyard included kitchen with coffeemaker & coffee, kettle for tea, stove, fridge etc. Well-maintained!
Across the road in the morning is one of the best pastry bakeries in the city - go early for your pain au chocolate. Caddy corner is a supermarket. 15mn walk to the ferry, food trucks, city market.
Very highly recommended! Merci Nadine!
