What a wonderful apartment - airy, clean, light, well stocked and very comfortable with lovely breakfast treats. A very well located space, close to the train station for Naples, Rome & Pompeii and the seafront, along with the Amalfi coast terminal and Salerno Old Town. Thank you for a super stay!

Great seaside apartment! Walk to hundreds of shops and restaurants. Take the ferry to Amalfi or Positano. Great walking path and bars on the boardwalk.

The apartment itself is beautiful: 12- to14-foot tall ceilings, balconies, views of the oceanfront promenade. It was also spotless, and the hostess left us fruits from her garden. It's also extremely well located near the marinas, shopping, and the historic center. I'd highly recommend!

My family had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property. Gina was so kind and helpful. The location is fabulous, right on the waterfront with easy access to all Salerno has to offer. We walked from the train station, the grocery store is 300m away, the ferry port is a short walk as well! Thank you Gina! We loved our stay!

Gina was a wonderful host, extremely helpful and generous. The apartment was well located close to all transport to each place we wanted to visit. It was roomy and comfortable and it became our home away from home for 3 weeks!

This apartment has charm and character. We loved Salerno and its historical town with many amazing restaurants at reasonable prices. The apartment is very close to the main station and the ferries to the Amalfi coast. We enjoyed the daily trips to Amalfi, Positano and co, but enjoyed returning to our comfortable home in Salerno. There was a very nice supermarket within minutes of the apartment that offered an impressive selection of fine wines, meat and fresh seafood (called Eté Prime). We cooked delicious fresh seafood in the apartment, which has everything you need in the kitchen. The bed in the master ensuite bedroom was extremely comfortable. The highlight of this apartment is the host, Gina. In all my years with FeWo (or whatever this platform is called in your country) I have never experienced a host that cared so much for her guests. We were greated personally and found breakfast, tea, coffee, milk water, beer and fresh fruit upon arrival. During our stay, Gina was so helpful and was always available to assist us with anything we needed. If you are looking for a comfortable apartment in an old building with high ceilings, Italian flair and a dream host, then Gina is the right address for you. We only wish, we could have stayed longer, but she was fully booked (not surprisingly). Thanks for a great stay in Salerno!

Amazing stay in Salerno, convenient location- everything you need in the apartment!

Gina was very helpful and gracious- met me for check in, ordered a cab to pick me up at the port, had some milk and fruit waiting in the fridge for me. Biggest plus of this place is the location- I could walk out and in 1 minute be by the water or the Corso ( main pedestrian area) and 5-8 mins to train station, 10-15 min walk to historic district.
The apartment was fine- not noisy despite being on main street, good air conditioning, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. I found the cleanliness could have been better- for example, vents over stove and light fixtures were filled with lint. Overall I’d call it a very nice student apartment but if you are an adult used to a little higher level of living, you may find it a little lacking.

Great location, great apartment
The apartment is across the street from the pedestrian walkway along the water. You can walk a short distance to a small sandy beach, shopping, many restaurants, a food market, ferries to other parts of the Coast, and the train station. You'll have everything you need in the apartment, and Gina is very available to help with anything else, activity information, or directions.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay in Gina's beautiful apartment in her beautiful town. I hope we can return to Salerno in the future.

Great acomodations and host
Gina is a great host. She met us downstairs, helped with the luggage (and because of my wife's knee issues, gave us a ride to the train station) and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment. She had some bread and homemade jelly for breakfast along with juice, milk, and sweets.
She gave us information on the area - restaurants, sites to visit, etc. and was only a phone call away.
The comfortable and nicely furnished apartment is in a great location, within easy walking distance to restaurants, train station and the ferry dock.
A very enjoyable stay!

Amazing!
We absolutely loved our stay!
Gina is so lovely!!!
She not only welcomed us into her beautiful apartment with her warm smile, but with all the thoughtful treats she had out for us.
We are from Canada & she had Canadian maple syrup, maple nougat & even a 🇨🇦 tea towel.
The apartment was stylish, spotless & comfortable and close to the train station & ferry terminal for Almalfi.
We would not hesitate to recommend this rental.
Until we meet again Gina, thank~you sweet friend for everything!!

Salerno is a hidden gem
We had a great, warm welcome from the owner who went above and beyond. Great location, very close to everything. You can take a boat to visit the rest of the coast only a walk away. We went with our kids and they absolutely loved the place. Very clean, very comfortable and highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Gina’s place! She had several nice amenities for our stay, like homemade bread, jam, wine and cheese, and items for us for breakfast! Very nice location for taking the ferries to and from the Amalfi Coast!

Light, spacious, warm and central with a great host
There’s a lift to this first floor apartment with good security, and we were met by the host Gina who was super helpful before and during our stay. We were there over Christmas so we probably interrupted their family celebrations but you wouldn’t have known. She was always so willing to help. There were lovely touches like the extras in the kitchen (wine, juice, milk, chocolate, home made jam, cereal, biscuits, bread). The kitchen was large and well equipped and the lounge/dining was large and spacious. The main bedroom was just as spacious and had lots of natural light through balcony windows that opened out to the sea. The ensuite shower wasn’t the best but there was another bathroom with a shower over bath. The main bed was super comfy and the twin beds in the second room were good but much firmer. There were TVs in every room. The location was excellent - a short walk to the train and also to the buses for other Amalfi Coast destinations. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Lovely apartment in convenient location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modern, spacious and well supplied apartment.. Gina and Umberto were extremely hospitable and kind. It was like going to visit friends or family. The place is clean, quiet and wonderfully located. We would return for sure. The location is also convenient.. You can walk everywhere. And Salerno is delightful.

Wonderful apartment, lovely welcome
Gina (the owner) and her assistant Jessica were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is comfortable and spacious, and very well located, close to the train station and both ferry docks. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit the Amalfi coast. The town of Salerno is bigger and more interesting than other places on the coast and not overrun by tourists.

Loved everything about this apartment!
I can't recommend this apartment enough. The pictures don't even do it justice. It's stylish, comfortable, well appointed and conveniently located close to shops, restaurants, a stroll along the beach, the port and the train station. We had already visited Amalfi, Positano and Capri, so we didn't have to make use of the ferries, but we were able to easily transit by train to Pompeii. Above all, I'd like to commend Gina and Umberto for their care and attention to detail; they really care about their guests' comfort and convenience. They provide useful information upon arrival and even goodies to enjoy for breakfast, including home-made jam! Just one thing - don't expect to be within a walk of a spectacular beach. The one by the port is not so nice. The closest really nice beach is in Paestum, about 30 minutes by train. But beaches aside, Salerno is the perfect spot from which to explore the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Naples. It is a relaxed environment and not overrun by tourists like Sorrento and other towns along the coast.

Great Amalfi / Pompeii launching point
Fantastic location overlooking the beach parkway between Salerno's two piers. Short walking distance to all restaurants and shops along the mall. The residence was very well kept and decorated. Gina provided great assistance upon arrival to show us all the features and provide tips on where to go. The two balconies overlook the parkway which provided much amusement with all the pedestrian and scooter traffic. If you are a light sleeper, may want to have earplugs at night in case of traffic honking or revving.
Was able to take tours of the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius and Capri during our stay. All were fantastic. Thank-you Gina for the stay!!

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Salerno
We loved staying at Gina and Umberto's apartment. It was in the perfect location, close to the promenade on the water front, walking distance to the train station, the harbour for boats to the Amalfi coast and many great restaurants. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had good pressure (both very important when you're travelling). The apartment is in an old historical building but the apartment has been nicely updated with modern conveniences. Gina welcomed us with homemade cake and jams, and lots of useful information. We felt so comfortable - this home had everything for a relaxing stay. Gina and Umberto were easy to communicate with and such a pleasure to meet. We highly recommend their home. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Repose by the Sea in So. Italy
Our 5-day stay in the middle of May here, as with others, far exceeded expectations. The apt. is in a good location, immaculately clean, spacious in rooms and 20 foot ceilings done in sparkling whites. There is an elevator to take you and your luggage one flight up/down. The 2 balconies offer a view to the promenade below--great seaside strolling! The sea is visible through the growing trees.
One enjoys the sea breeze in the apt. by throwing open the 20 foot balcony doors. Once closed, the life of the city becomes muted and you have complete privacy. The apt. is well stocked with travel brochures, train time tables, coffee table books of great pics of the area. The hosts are a tremendous resource, helping you with anything and everything,
The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans for the induction stove top. There is a basic supply of herbs and spices. The grocery store is near. The full sized refrigerator holds plenty.
This apt. is family owned. They take pride in their property and helping you make sure they are available. They are gracious, generous hosts.
Salerno is a regular work-a-day Italian city that is not overrun by tourists. All generations are out strolling together in the evening. There is the long promenade by the sea with outdoor cafes. Then there is a pedestrian walkway of 10? blocks in the other direction (a couple of blocks north of the apt.) with all kinds of shops, eateries and other businesses. Pizza was great in the large old city town square! Neighborhood children were running and playing; families were out for the good pizza, too!
Towns people were always extremely helpful to help us to find out way. The apt. is just a 5-10 min. walk to the boat dock from where we went to Positano and Amalfi. We took the train, also near, to Naples and other historical sites.
It was 2 hours to Rome, non-stop, on the fast train, to sadly end our glorious time in Italy. We easily switched trains in Roma Termini train station for the airport and took the hotel shuttle to the airport hotel. We flew out the next day. All was very smooth.
Couldn't have asked for more!
Grazie mille, Gina and Umberto!

Salerno - Central Comfort
This large apartment in the central part of Salerno is only a few hundred meters from the train station. Gina and husband met us at the front door and couldn't have been more gracious and helpful with any details that we needed for our short stay. The apartment was as pictured (and more) and had all the kitchen provisions that you might need to cook or not. We loved the homemade jam/cookies and breakfast provisions they provided for us in the kitchen - a welcoming touch.
The apartment is very large, very bright and clean as a whistle. Beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were tastefully decorated, although the master bathroom toilet needs a little work. We only used 2 bedrooms but the apartment has more room in the upper section of the loft that is accessed from the second bedroom. This apartment has a wonderful location with easy access from the street. The pedestrian promenade that is only a block away has all the shopping and restaurants that you can ask for. The boat ferries along the Amalfi coast are also a short walk from this location. I would highly recommend this apartment to friends and anyone looking for this central location. Thanks Gina and Family.
