About this apartment rental
Originally built in 1897, The Historic Hart Hotel sits right on Main Street in Darby, Montana directly across from the Old West Antique & Candy Store. The building has been many things over the years including a hotel, private residence, a boarding house, and more. We've just finished a full renovation of the top floor turning it into a unique, quaint and functional 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment including a full kitchen and laundry.
This apartment is on the second floor of our charming house, accessible by the staircase on the north side and parking in the rear off of the alley.
The apartment is a total of about 900 sq ft, so it's on the smaller side, but we have packed a lot of features in such a small space.
Remember as well that this is a 130 year old building. While we did a complete renovation, some of the floors are slanted, primarily in the main living area and the bunk room. If any of us lived to 130 years, we'd probably be a little wavy as well.
The central common space has a sitting/living room with a massive flat screen TV as well as a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo. NOTE: The washer/dryer combo is a SMALL unit, adequate for about 2-3 outfits at a time.
The front bedroom overlooks Main Street and has a queen bed, large flat screen TV and a private mini fridge.
The middle room that looks to the south has a twin bunk, large flat screen TV and a private mini fridge.
Both the queen room and bunk room share a full bathroom that's accessible near the kitchen.
The rear master suite is the largest room and has a queen bed, large flat screen TV, a private mini fridge, and a private ensuite bathroom.
Both bathrooms have a beautifully tiled walk-in shower with a rain shower head and side jets.
Each bedroom has an electronic lock on it as well because we also rent our place out by the room. A common code for these rooms will be provided to you.
See the apartment layout under the photos section.
Guests are welcome to use the entire upstairs apartment, parking spaces in the rear, as well as the lawn for games, lounging, or just enjoying our fresh mountain air.
If you have any questions, concerns, issues, or thoughts before, during, or after your stay, please reach out to us through the Airbnb messaging system.
