About this house rental
Welcome to our semi-detached chalet, perfect for large groups who want to be near the fun at the Blue Mountain Village but away from the crowds! This 3 level mountain home features a great room with a full kitchen, plenty of couch space, a private balcony, & ping pong! This is a classic style chalet with character, ideal for bachelor/ette parties, college students, girls/guys weekends, and birthday parties. This is a laid back space tailored more for lively gatherings than quiet family vacations
Gather with friends in the great room on the top floor. The big windows allow for lots of natural light, while the surrounding forest maintains privacy. Wood ceilings and beams along with exposed brick make this a rustic chalet-style atmosphere for apres ski. On the top floor there’s comfortable seating and a Smart TV.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with appliances and cooking basics, convenient for when you're not dining at one of the popular local restaurants. Enjoy your meals in the connected dining area or on the patio. This home includes basic cookware, bakeware, cutlery, utensils, drip coffee maker, and BBQ tools; just bring your food, coffee, and spices! Garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap and towels, etc will be supplied. The outdoor deck includes seating and a propane BBQ.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
This chalet has 6 bedrooms on the 1st (basement) and 2nd levels of this home. Bedrooms 1-3 each have 2 double beds, bedrooms 4 and 5 each have a double over double bunk bed, and bedroom 6 has one double bed. Please note these bedrooms are standard and do not have closets or dressers for clothing storage. There are 2 full bathrooms in this home, one with a shower and one with a shower-in-tub. We provide all linens, towels and some travel-size toiletries for you during your stay.
Sauna and Ping Pong
There is a private sauna available for you to enjoy on the 2nd (middle/ground level) floor. In the basement, there is a ping pong table in between the bedrooms.
Parking
As this is a semi-detached chalet, the driveway is shared with the neighbouring unit. Your side of the driveway can accommodate 5-6 vehicles.
Please keep the following in mind before choosing our chalet:
- The wood burning fireplace is not accessible to guests for safety reasons
- This unit is near other party style chalets and is not ideal for a quiet family friendly getaway
- This is an older building with character, not a modern home
- While parties and gatherings are welcome, guests are still expected to respect the home and neighbours. The Town of The Blue Mountains has By-laws regarding noise (in effect 24/7) that can be strictly enforced at times. This is the case for all chalets in The Blue Mountains. Excessive noise may result in a check-in from security. Have fun but please be respectful!

1) The occupancy of the property is restricted to the names listed. The Management Company must be notified by message of any changes to the occupancy. The number of people occupying the property shall not exceed what was entered at the time of booking. This includes all children and babies unless an exception is agreed upon with The Management Company.
2) The person booking the property must be 21 years of age or older and be always present for the duration of the rental period. This condition will be strictly enforced, failure to comply may result in immediate eviction from the property without refund.
3) The Renter agrees to leave the property and surrender the keys/parking passes upon check-out. Any items not returned will result in forfeiture of appropriate portions of the damage deposit. Replacing each fob or pass will be 100 CAD.
4) The Renter agrees to remove all garbage and recycling to the outside receptacles upon their departure, this includes all alcohol bottles. A breach of this policy will result in a forfeiture of 150 CAD retained from the damage deposit.
5) The Renter agrees to not smoke anywhere on the property. A breach of this policy will result in forfeiture of the damage deposit in full.
6) A cleaning charge is taken at the time of booking. This is to cover basic cleaning expected from usual and normal use of the property and to include all floors, bathrooms, beds, and kitchen. Any exceptional cleaning that would be considered required due to beyond normal and conscientious use of the property will be deducted from the damage deposit at an hourly rate.
7) The Management Company is not liable, nor will provide a refund, for any stoppage of electrical services caused by extreme weather or other circumstances beyond its control.
8) If property damage occurs the Management Company reserves the right to use the damage deposit at its sole discretion to compensate the owner for costs incurred to repair or replace to like kind and quality.
9) The Renter hereby agrees and acquiesces to entry by the Management Company, the OPP or the Town’s Licensing Bylaw Officers because of noise violation, occupancy violation or any other reasonable purpose.
10) The Management Company will not be liable for any injury, illness or death of the Renter, his/her guests, visitors, or any other persons that are injured as a result of the renters occupancy or actions.
11) The Renter agrees not to sublease or assign the property without written permission from the Management Company.
12) The Renter agrees not to order any services or material on behalf of the Management Company. This will result in a partial or full forfeiture of the damage deposit.
13) The Renter agrees not to engage in any unlawful or irresponsible activities or behaviour during their rental period that may result in injury or damage to himself/herself, his/her co-renters, or any other persons on the property. Engaging in such activities could result in eviction without refund.
14) The Management Company hereby undertakes to exert their best effort to address and resolve any emergencies that occur during the rental period of the renter in a timely fashion that limits any inconvenience to the renter. If the emergency is not caused by the renter and it cannot be remedied in a timely fashion and the property cannot be used in an acceptable manner resulting in the renter vacating the property, then the Management Company agrees to refund all or part of the rental cost. Alternatively, the Management Company shall exert their best effort to provide a comparable property for use by the renter for the remaining duration of the rental period. The Management Company will not compensate the renter by paying for alternate accommodation.
15) The Renter hereby agrees to not emanate ANY noise that will disturb any neighboring people or property, at any time. The renter is accountable for any fines or levies placed on The Management Company or other, during stay, caused by excessive noise or any other prohibited act.
16) The Renter has read, acknowledged, and will abide by the below By-laws. The penalty for contravening any provision in this by-law is 650 CAD and will result in the loss of the renter’s damage deposit in its entirety. This is in addition to bearing responsibility for payment in full of any fines issued.
