Villa Central Varenna was the perfect start to our Italian family vacation!

The property was in an excellent location. It was clean and had so much room. There were more than enough items provided. Liz was also a pleasure. I can’t recommend Villa Central Varenna enough!

Fantastic stay at Villa Central Varenna

The exceptional location of Villa Central in Varenna, close to everything you need to see. Liz is a wonderful host and so helpful - not just during our stay but weeks before our arrival, she guided us with everything we wanted to know about Lake Como, Varenna, what to see and visit, best ways to travel etc. The villa itself is spotless clean, so well-maintained and felt like home away from home! All essential supplies were superbly provided, so you dont need to go out looking for living essentials on the day you arrive. The day we arrived, it was raining and therefore we just settled into the villa and spent a wonderful evening at the villa, cooking, watching TV and just resting after a really long trip across Europe. The villa is two storeyed, super spacious and the view of the Lake from the balcony of the Master Bedroom is gorgeous! A beautiful sit-out area on Level 2 also provided a magical experience during our stay! If you ever wish to spend a wonderful holiday on Lake Como, i would choose Varenna, and Villa Central, every time!

Perfect location at a perfect price.

Fabulous location in central Varenna. The house was much larger than we had expected and the spa bath was a lovely surprise, The owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were delighted with the whole stay.

Beautiful villa located centrally to explore all other towns in lake Como. Well equipped, spacious.

We liked the fact that the property was centrally located close to the main town and also ferry and train stations nearby. Property is well maintained and owner Liz was always in touch with us and very helpful providing information about a lot of things from the day we booked to our return date. All essentials in the bathrooms, kitchen provided with basic stuff like water, cereal butter, tea coffee etc. There is an outdoor area and jacuzzi too which we did not use but lots of space speed over 3 floors and suitable for families or a group of friends.

Nothing much to say as everything was within reach and conveniently located. As it's not far from the town and cathedral and a car park there may be some occasional noise but that did not bother us much

Wonderful villa that feels like home!

Lovely spacious house near the main square. Very clean. Great air conditioning. Especially the largest bedroom with lake view and big bathroom on the top floor are superb. Friendly and helpful host.

There can be occationally some noise from the street traffic if you are a light sleeper, but not all night.

Exceptional

The central location was perfect for us, such a treat to be directly opposite the botanical gardens. Liz was incredibly helpful and attentive and we loved how well stocked the kitchen was with sundries etc, meaning we could cook at home when we didn't want to eat out. The property was huge, meaning we all had plenty of space to spread out and relax. Would 100% recommend this stay.

Feels like home

Feels like an Itallian family was living there and decided to rent the property, so you’re staying in a fully equiped home with a fireplace, terrace and a lake-view balcony. Hostess was perfect when welcoming us and advising on some tips&tricks in Varenna. Great location, big spacious rooms with all the required facilities and even a little surprise when we arrived. Would love to come back!

Great location

Great villa in a really convenient location. The host was really helpful with check in and explaining features of the house. No air conditioning but there were fans in every room, this was handy for the hot days. It has a little courtyard out the back and a small balcony on the top floor which offers a nice view of the lake.

Nice and close to everything. It is absolutely perfect for families, especially with little kids. Bed and things for every age of child, very nice touch. Best family place we have stayed.

Exceptional

This villa was bigger than I expected. It worked great for two families of four. It is spread out over three floors, but the view from the master bedroom is beautiful. There is no air conditioner, but the house stayed cool enough to be comfortable in the beginning of July. The property is located right off the parking garage which was convenient for us because we drove. Overall, we had a great stay.

The fact that there was no air conditioner was a little disappointing because it was so hot there. It would’ve been nice to come back from sightseeing to a cold house. It is stated in the description though and I just didn’t see it.
