It is good enough for what you need it for. While the area isn't pretty, if your plan is to go to city centre and spend your day there and then simply rest at the hostel, it does a perfect job at that.
There is a Lidl nearby, and you have access to a kitchen, so it is also decent for those that want to save money on some meals, but the hostel is not really at a comfortable distance to go back and forth too during the day.
Granted, taking a Uber in the city is at least really cheap.
The bed was stiff and quite uncomfortable. The showers and Toilets were shared so nothing accessible in your room.
The area around the hostel is rundown and old, feels a bit unsafe. But in general it does not matter when just traveling to and from.

Daniel the host was so lovely and helpful and made us feel very safe. The kitchen was very well equipped as were the bathrooms. The room itself was very comfortable!
A bit far out of town but the walk was lovely and the tram was very easy.

Amazingly attentive host

It was clean and well equipped. Has a washing machine too so that was really great. Good kitchen, without oven though.
It's 20 mins away from the center but there's a tram every 7 minutes and frankly for the price is a good deal.

Lovely stay for a day or two, nice and clean rooms. The owner is realy kind, we felt very welcomed upon our arrival and that made our stay in the hostel even better! The location is nice (far from the city centre), but that suited our needs since we were only passing through Bratislava and were travelling by car.
Could get quite loud, especially during the night, since the walls are quite thin and there is noone from the staff at night at the hostel (no reception), we were quite lucky since during our stay in the hostel there was a group of lovely scouts, which were very considerating and not that loud.
No AC in the rooms.

Location

The place is a well kept-hostel in Bratislava. Getting to the historical city centre was easy by taking a 20-minute tram ride. There is a supermarket near the hostel and the tram stop. The neighbourhood was OK, it is a building near a school and apartment blocks. The room was quite big, not luxurious by any means, but spacious enough to get around with all the luggage. There is a kitchen with tables and chairs, so you can prepare your own meals there. There were separate toilets and showers for men and women, which were in good shape. Owner of the place seems to be caring about the standard of the hostel.

We liked everything about our accommodation. It was clean, comfortable, warm. It was safe and good value for money. Thank you very much.

neat and simple

It was clean, stuff was very nice
We happened to live with a big company of youngsters who were extremely noisy at night and it was difficult to calm them down

Large room, fairly clean, not the best location but gives you glimpse of different part of the city which is interesting.
I stayed at double room but there was no indication that the bathroom was shared, had there been one, I would never have booked it, and for the room with shared bathroom the price was extremely high. Hostel is not even a building but rather a garage in the suburbs, which is very poorly lit during the night and many people may find going there pretty unsafe. The shared bathroom was dirty and lacked even the paper towels for hand drying, also as the toilets and the showers are completely shared you may bump into some naked dude right away as entering the room, which is pretty uncomfortable to say the list.

Peripheral area of the city, a little scary at first ,no private bathrooms , but they are clean.

The room and the whole place was super clean. Even though it is a few kilometers from the centrum, the tram stop is very close by and the tram is easy to use. The staff was extremely helpful and fun to talk to. This place is good value for your money!

It was clean. Easy access from the train station and to the airport. The staff was helpful and nice.
A bit far away from the center, but close to public transport. There is no air condition of the weather is hot.
