Room set up and decoration was lovely. Tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. Seat on the outside. Lovely surroundings. Something a little different than your average b&b. Lodges well spaced.
There were lots of cobwebs and tree debris on the veranda that you could tell had been there awhile which just needed to be knocked off with a brush. Make sure you tell the attendant that you are staying overnight otherwise you end up in the field car park for the castle visitors who just assume you are visiting the castle only.

Fun, comfortable, fantastic staff. Great entertainment for the kids. A really great break.
Fish and chip van was overpriced and understocked. But the cook tried his best to offer solutions to make up for that. Truly the staff are one of the biggest assets. Showers had the timer buttons which wasn’t ideal.

lovely breakfast, lots of choice
cost of a bottle of cider over £7

Super fun for me and adult son. It would be perfect for a family with children. Lots of space and a nice field for the kids to run around and have a great time.
4.3
clean, fun, inviting
- 4pm to late a check in for family with kids
- more sheltered areas from the rain so activities can continue without being soaked

I really like the chalet, it was clean and cozy. It heated up really quick. The room had 2 rooms with children's room having bunk bed. The staff and manager were really pleasnt and helpful, it made our stay even more welcoming. Breakfast was really good compare to some of the well know hotels that serve minimal choice, this hotel had plenty of options.
Originally I was booked in for the tent without realising. It was not my cuppa tea, as the tents had bare minimum, no heating so it was really cold for us as it was raining that night. You have to use shared toilets and showers. Apart from the tent expericence which i didn't like everything else was wonderful

The setting.
Glamping tent looks good on 1st impression but not even a hook to hang your coat on!! Floor and everything on it was soaking wet as it was raining ! Going to loo block in middle of the night in the rain only to find them dirty wet and with no loo roll left!Resteraunt staff young and disinterested in guests.

The location was beautiful. the cabin was ver comfortable. The walk into town was very manageable.
Parking was a long way from the lodge. there was a drop off point at the lodge but we didn't know of it until we had already dragged our luggage from the parking area.

Enjoyed our stay
Our tent was next door to the toilets and people walking past all night

Great idea, good layout
Tent had been surface cleaned only floor had not been cleaned and dont look under the bed! Toilets were ok but the doors were wide open with lights on, not a great experience with all the insects.
When booking i was under the impression there would be linen and towels. Linen yes but no sign of towels so take your own if you want a shower. Its on the site of the castle but dont get excited to have a view of the castle. Is not accesable to see without tickets or a long walk to the river.

The tent experience and the wooded grounds plus the night's duel.

Breakfast had a really good choice and was self service. Knights evening meal was amazing and there was plenty of food. The crackling was the best we have tasted ever!! All staff very friendly & helpful.

Beautifully designed site in a very peaceful location next to Warwick Castle. Great breakfast
You're very close to neighbours in the semi-detached lodges which is unfortunate when they're drinking and being noisy into the early hours. I assume this is rare though.

Bed was very creaky

The lodges were decorated in the castle theme, and quite attractive. Bathroom was very clean, modern and well designed. Bed was comfortable also. Best thing about the property though was the restaurant! we didn’t really have high hopes ot the dining hall type place, but were tired and wanted to stay close, so we ate there. unbelievably good food! Everything was outstanding!

Central to Warwick which is an excellent town.
Great for families, basic accomodation but as a couple of builders needing a room for the night..... memorable.
