The room was large, clean, nice size bathroom. The breakfast was very nice, the staff were friendly and accomodating.
Beds were very hard for my liking, pillows were very flat, I asked for 2 more but only got one. The surrounds of the property were very unkempt, but it seems the whole area is like that, which is a shame for such a beautiful area. Looking out my window there were cranes which distracted from the view.

Location and staff, great little bar to relax and have a drink, after many hours of driving. Less busy than the more commercial part of Lake Como, so its a great retreat after spending the day in the more busy areas. Amazing bar and pizzeria a short 5 minute walk from here too.
Nothing as knew what to expect.

Staff at the breakfast provided really exceptional service and went out of their way, to ensure that guests had a good time. Staff at the bar really went out of their way to ensure that guests had a good time. Very professional and senior bar tender.
Well, where to start. Incredibly bad managed hotel. I'm sure it was a great place to be years ago, unfortunately this is not the case any longer. Major factors:
- Nightshift staff at the reception was not interested at all to check me in. I reported several defects right after the check-in, details below. Nothing was fixed immediately and I had the feeling that there was not even an attempt to do so "not my job" attitude. I have been to hotels all around the world and never experienced such a disappointing stay.
- Lamp in the bathroom was broken, was not replaced even after several requests
- Toilet set was broken, was not replaced even after several requests
- Water did not work AT ALL the first night, even after several requests. One day later, the hot water worked, however not the cold water. Hot to that extent, that you can't shower without burning yourself. Was not fixed for another 1 full day.

The receptionist was really kind and understanding
There was a concert outside, the music went on for about 6-7 hours until 12:00 am

The view from the balance was nice, the lake and mountains. Check in was a breeze since the receptionist was efficient.
The bathroom was dimly lit up and the toilet seat chipped. The morning yoga class in the garden was a bit noisy and disturbing. If you want to experience the best of Lake Como then Bellagio would be a better town to stay in.

Perfect location for those who wish to perhaps scape the crowds. Located in a small town, 2 minutes away from the train station with a lovely and helpful staff. Definitely would come back to this hotel if my main purpose was to enjoy the lake and enjoy some quiet time (which is basically what I wanted)
I paid for a Mountain View room and unfortunately that was far from the best option for me.
It was extremely underwhelming, the balcony was facing the highway, above the hotel’s bar and with a staff hang out balcony right on our left which meant that it was extremely noisy and I had no privacy.
privacy: I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time because opening them made me feel like I was on a reality tv show. The staff would just constantly look inside our room and watch me and my friends do whatever we were doing (getting ready usually). It completely put me off and definitely didn’t make that balcony as appealing as it could be. I strongly regret paying more money for a Mountain View it is 100% not worth it.
I paid for a view that I couldn’t quite enjoy it, also the Mountain View is a partial one.
noise: If you dared to open the window (and open the curtains) you were “blessed” with the sound of the highway combined with a few tipsy customers hanging out outside the bar. I am a light sleeper so keeping them open wasn’t an option for me.
I chose to keep both curtains and windows closed at night but the a/c isn’t the best.

Very good breakfast! Lovely cheerful lady at breakfast taking our coffee orders :) Awesome restaurant right next to the hotel (Babadulac) which was a bonus. Nice view to some mountains and lake can also be seen a bit. Cleaning service everyday - fresh towels and bed made. Good to have a small fridge for some snacks. Nice size bathroom. Room also big enough for luggage to be open. Secured parking lot behind locked gate. Good big long pillows.
A little outdated. No grocery shop in walking distance. (3km to nearest big grocery shop with good selection)

Views were amazing . Breakfast options were great . Rooms were very big . Beds were comfy. Cleaning was done everyday. Rooms and bathrooms were modern and so clean . We had two rooms right beside each other. Great private parking. Staff were great and so helpful and welcoming.
Nothing really but if I had to say something the rooms to the front of the hotel can be noisy from the road as its quiet bust but we are all good sleepers so it was ok for us.

fantastic location, minute walk from the station, with regular trains into Lecco which is the nearest city from the hotel, only 7 minutes on the train. in the opposite direction is Varenna which is 20 minutes.
hotel was great and the staff were lovely and helpful.

The location of the hotel is great - right on the water front of Lake Como. The terrace is perfect for a sunny breakfast with a view. The breakfast buffet was great!
The 'mountain view' room was quite noisy as it sits on the road side. However, we still had a decent lake view despite being in the mountain side.
