Prima knus hotel,centraal gelegen

De locatie is fijn middenin het centrum. De kamer is prima,tikje verouderd maar niet hinderlijk en netjes.Simpel maar prima ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Eigenlijk niets.Misschien een tip om bij aankomst te vragen hoe de reis is geweest en bij het uitchecken te vragen hoe het verblijf is geweest?

What a great stay!

The hotel is very nice. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great, really close to good restaurants and all the main sights in Ponta Delgada are walking distance. The hotel also has a bar that sells drinks at a good price, which makes for a good chill evening. The staff was super friendly, especially Sofia from the front desk who made sure we had a really good stay.

Pleasant but not great, a bit disappointing

The location is great, right in the heart of the city, the staff was always nice and available.

The swimming pool (one of the reasons why we picked this hotel) was not what we expected, it was a disappointment, as it was full of pigeons and pigeons’ poop inside the water and on the deck, so we didn’t even use it. The suite’s terrace was a bit sad on the first floor, no table for meals, so we didn’t use it as we expected for light meals, there was no view - we had a really tall wall (around 5m/6m high) surrounding the terrace. The suite didn’t look that clean, when we checked in, the bathroom had some weird smears/spots on the walls surrounding the toilet, when the cleaning team came in they always left the bathroom floor full of shoe marks, it also needs better lighting. The breakfast was another disappointment, very poor, very little choices, every morning the same, for a 4 star hotel with “continental” breakfast, I sure expected different varieties of fruits, bread, more regional/local options, etc.

OK but could be better

Location was perfect. Everything was close by and easy to access.

Bar right below our window with music and activities going on until 3:00 am. Water boiler broke down so we had no water to shower in the morning.

Exceptional

The hotel is a central location - you can walk to the main attractions in the city as well as to the harbor and you have plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The rooms were big, very clean, and comfortable. . . Overall a really nice place to stay.

Everything was really nice, zero complaints from us. If you have a rental car the hotel also has a garage you can park in - if you are not used to smaller streets or tighter garages it might be intimidating at first. There is also street parking near by so really no stress.

Lovely design hotel in the Old Town and close to the ocean with convenient parking and good service.

Very good location close to the Old Town and the ocean. Very friendly service and clean room. Parking is at the underground garage at the hotel which is very convenient. Liked the design of the hotel.

Breakfast is extremely poor with limited choice and quantity.

Perfect location, clean, quiet, helpful staff, on site parking.

Excellent location. 5 min walk to main sites, restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. Very quiet, very clean. Staff very helpful. Easy underground parking at hotel.

Bed was not that comfortable. A bit hard without much cushioning. Breakfast was not great compared to other European breakfast spreads we’ve experienced.

The wellness was private and really cool. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was poor. No vegetables, same food every day. Sometimes the bar on the street played loud music , you could hear it from the room and also the main door for the room didn't close properly and you could hear the people on the corridor.

Spa area with steam room and jacuzzi was awesome after a tour out on the island. Recommendation for dinner was excellent. Breakfast was great. Parking was helpful

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city with parking

The parking garage was so convenient, the location was perfect, rooms were clean, beds comfy, front desk was so helpful, and the breakfast was good.

I’m not sure we would choose this hotel again.

The location was good, beds were comfortable, it is affordable.

Very little space in the bathroom, no place for toiletries. the lighting is poor, the pool deck was not clean, it was covered in pigeon excrement. and the outdoor space off of the room had very uninviting furniture.

Exceeded my expectations.

Everything.Location. Professional and kind staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Enjoyed the continental breakfast and the best fresh juices. Made to order coffee (i.e. espresso, cappuccino).

A gem accomodation!

Really great cute hotel, our room was large enough so we have a separate spare bad for our son and plenty of space still available. We liked the terace with the pool and the spa. Location was perfect, staff very helpful, it was a great choice to book this place

Excellent location, kind stuff, nice rooms!

The design of the spaces, the staff was very friendly and the location excellent!

the only thing I would like to change is the fact that the breakfast was always the same. We stayed for 5 days and we every morning we had exactly the same breakfast which could have been more creative, they could have changed it every couple of days. We asked them once to have the eggs cooked differently instead of scrabbled but they kindly refused so.

A superb well located contemporary hotel with exceptional staff and facilities.

A superb contemporary hotel - great location, super nice, helpful and friendly staff and wonderfully comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious bedrooms. The use of the underground garage was a bonus, as was the outside pool area which we relaxed in after hiking one day. All in all, we would highly recommend for a stay in Ponta Delgada as your are in the heart of the old part of the city, surrounded by very good restaurants and only 3 minutes stroll to the harbourside. And as are all Azoreans we met, the staff are wonderfully friendly, kind and helpful.

Breakfast was very decent, but could do with a bit more variety from day to day.

Outstanding hotel with great value

We had a suite (306) and it was lovely. Clean and spacious. very nice contemporary decor. well maintained. Beds are comfortable but on the firm side so if you like really soft spongy beds, you may not like these. The shower was great. big and high water pressure. We never ran out of hot water. The fridge and small kitchenette was useful. We liked the sound of the big church bell tolling the hours in the background. Though the windows were very good and blocked a lot of sound. They served a good breakfast with fresh made to order coffee which was a nice touch. Great value. They have a hot tub/steam room and sauna and due to covid they are allowing guests to reserve it for an hour. It’s a private spa which is amazing value since it’s included in the room price. The location is great as it’s 5 minutes from the central area and sea front in the historic district. They changed the sheets and towels every day. Every staff member we dealt with was so friendly and helpful. always helped with a smile. The room was as shown on the website in every way.

We faced the street and there was a bar on the street that played music till about 11pm on Friday and Saturday. The windows blocked most of the sound but you could still hear it a bit. I think lower floors might hear it more. It didn’t bother us too much. It is a small complaint but they need more hooks for robes, towels. drying swimsuits.

Great stay in the heart of Ponta Delgada

Cozy, large room. Perfect central location with plenty restaurants to choose from and a nearby promenade. Free parking in garage.

Breakfast was really a no go. We could eat nothing but muesli. Can be a tad loud, when next door restaurants has a party.
