Great value for money, centrally located in Banff

The room and in particular the bed, was very comfortable. Parking inside was great as it allowed us to keep our ski boots in the car and they were dry each morning.

The heating/air con in the room was very noisy, we kept it switched off during the night. The hot tubs didn’t work well, they were hot but the jets didn’t work very well

Clean rooms with plenty of space, pleasant staff, great location.

The room was clean and had plenty of space, housekeeping did a very good job. Location was good. Ski shuttle pick up out front was an added bonus. Service in the restaurant was good-friendly.

Exceptional experience!

I absolutely love everything! From the friendly staff at the reception during check in to the staff i spoke over the phone during check out time made our experience smooth and hassle free. The location is superb! The cleanliness of the room is exceptional. I super love their bed. The whole experience was great i will recommend this to my friends and would definitely come back.

Almost nothing. Just a minor thing that it would be nicer if there is an elevator going to the lower parking area.

Great location, very kind staff, very clean rooms and bathrooms.

The mattress is too soft in my opinion, but this is my personal preference. The restaurant was fully reserved for a private event but we could order to take to the room, so it was not a huge problem.

Comfortable beds Ski lock up easy to access - would be better with padlocks instead of combination Microwave and plates brought to room for person with multiple allergies (can't dine out)

Great value within comfortable walking distance to downtown Banff.

A full breakfast was included with the room. This meant it was far more convenient for the family to eat and get our day started directly from the hotel.

Navigating around the hotel is somewhat like a maze. However we eventually figured out where everything was.

Great location but a room that wasn't worth the significant room rate (not even including breakfast!

Location is excellent, but the hotel is generally a little tired and in need of some TLC. The room itself was gloomy, with old, stained carpets - albeit the bathroom and beds were clean and acceptable.

The room could do with a lot of updating, new carpets and generally modernising.

I appreciated the laundry arrangement the Ptarmigan had with the Moose next door. We were able to get all of our laundry done, after 4 days of camping, while we were waiting for our room to be ready.

Convenient location

Staff, accommodations, right on the main strip, huge room size for a 2 queen room, free parking. Ski resort bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Narrow hallways inside the hotel. I fond the hotel very maze like. There was a fake eyelash left on a nightstand (thought it was a caterpillar..hahah) Oh and the midnight action next door 🤪. Walls/doors are very thin it seems.

The location is good in for center of the town. Walking distance to a lot of services and facilities.

1. I booked the hotel in December 2022 and also called the staff during that time to ask about the breakfast option since there wasn't any mention of it on the booking site. At that time, the lady who answered the call said that there could be a website glitch, but breakfast was included in my booking. On my check-in day (Feb.18/23) when the receptionist handed my room keys... I clearly remember she said that "see you tomorrow morning during breakfast". And boom! The next morning another receptionist said that we need a breakfast entry card and that no such card is eligible for my booking!!! So I paid literally for the room which was not even worth it. The bathroom door knob was broken and we called the front desk 2-3 times but nothing happened. Also, on one of the beds, the bedsheet was torn. I was there with my friends for just 2 days so wasn't planning on staying in the room all day, so I didn't go to the fron office... just called them from the room and notified them. But when I brought up this issue during the checkout, the same breakfast fuss receptionist said that mentioning it during checkout does not make sense. If I didn't bring it up during my stay, that's my mistake. So no big deal. I mean seriously? So the staff was not at all friendly and helpful.

cleanliness of rooms. locality to town.

leisure area not particularly clean and no towels. Breakfast buffet limited and repetitive. unclear when buffet or a la carte breakfast was available. vending machines erratic .

Great stay in a great hotel in a great location

Good sized room, nice clean bathroom.

Room was initially too hot for me but after a quick play with the thermostat, sorted that all out. Cant really fault anything.
