The location of the hotel is probably the only reason why guests choose it. There is a heaten pool in the garden area, it is not used often though. The staff was friendly.
You can hear everything that is going on in the hallway when you are in your room, the walls and doors are very thin This is annoying as sometimes hotel guests arrive back later at night in their rooms and their talking can wake you up. I could not sleep without earplugs anyway as the ventilation was making a very awkward noise every few seconds. The hotel has carpet flooring and the carpet is not cleaned properly, you can find dirt and objects on every inch you look at on the carpet. There is a lot of dust in several spots in the room like on cables and in corners. I have a dust allergy and felt it very intense in this hotel. I also have itchy skin and mites from my stay at this property. My room had no bathtub, and the hotel did not provide slippers. The water pressure in the shower was very weak and it took several minutes until the hot water came. The WIFI is bad too, it is difficult to work on the hotel's WIFI, you get interrupted often if you work in the cloud or have video calls.

Very nice room and facilities. Staffs are friendly too. Great location right by the caltrain station and close to downtown Palo Alto as well as Stanford University.
No free parking and no microwave in the room. I also wish the price was lower but I guess everything is expensive in Palo Alto....

I’ve stayed a couple of times before start of term at Stanford. The location and Staff are wonderful and I was able to study in peace in a lovely environment.
The Staff, the room.

Goede ligging, ligt centraal
De wc was verstopt en niet alleen bij ons. Je hoorde de buren steeds doortrekken of ze bij ons op de kamer zaten.

Ordered 1 hour prior to pickup and one of the 4 meals had burnt bacon in it. Was in a time restricted schedule and didn’t inspect food before I left property. Had to summon a staff from the kitchen, for the pickup and payment; no one at the front of the restaurant. There was another silent party just standing and waiting as well.
Afore mentioned.

I got a complementary upgrade. The bed was nice and comfortable. The place was clean. Reusable water bottle was provided in the room. The amenities were nice. The place was quiet and good for getting some work done.
There were some food leftovers in the fridge from the previous guest which was not removed. I told the front desk about it but still was not removed.

The location is near the local shopping mall, community store and Stanford University.
The facility is old and room is dark. The room service staff doesn't speak English.
Some of the rooms are facing the train line.
