Everything was fabulous from the staff to the easy parking to the gulf views!

Beautiful property with all the amenities.
Booking beach chairs ahead of time or you had to stand in line every morning.

Staff was excellent & v pleasant to us. The food was great. It was v relaxing & comfortable.
Beach was great. It was convenient was walk most places.
Weather didn’t cooperate. One day it rained all day. Since we only had three nights, that was disappointing.

Location was wonderful, staff very friendly, rooms very nice and beach was spectacular.
Nothing at all

The location right on water is great but the bed was really uncomfortable—very annoying given the price of this hotel.
I had 2 guests touch me—yep, one was a drunk man and another was a woman. The hotel does not have a lot of people of color as guests so maybe the White guests need to be told upon check in—“please don’t touch the people of color staying at the hotel!”

Everything!
The sofa pull out is Rough! Cute to sit on impossible to sleep on. Go for 2 doubles if you have 4 people including kids.

The brand new pool just opened while we were there and it is wonderful and served by great pool staff with delicious menu. truly all the staff were very kind and helpful. it seems that the renovations for the new suites are wrapping up and there was no inconvenience from this.
need to book beach chairs well in advance and pricey, but you can get same day setups starting at 9 am in the third row. it is a strange complaint, but the pools in the beach club and camp watercolor are too warm and the water was barely refreshing on a hot summer day. we opted to stay cooler in the ocean.

Excellent location!
Construction going on

Breakfast was great and enjoyed eating on the terrace. Too much construction and really we were not prepared for how much. Wish they could have completed it in the winter months. We should have had a reduction on our bill due to it.
All the construction. Waiting area for the restaurant was hot and not enough lobby seating while waiting to check in. We appreciated how clean they like to keep the room, but felt when we came back from beach or pool in the afternoon the room should have been ready, but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Maybe they need more staffing to get rooms cleaned by 1 to 2 pm.

great location
under construction, staff was off season at front desk so no clue of things to do or providing high service. We had a room with great second floor view but also a tractor working during the day. when asked to move they said they are not able to bc of the 3 weddings coming in. So guess if your not wedding party, your out of luck.

Great food, super staff, free water, coffee and cookies. Clean, convenient to ocean and great view.
Beach chairs should be provided. Too expensive for rooms.

The Inn is beautiful! The staff is 100% focused on making your stay at Watercolor Inn one to remember! Food at FOOW is excellent and pool service is prompt.. easy access to the beaches with reserved area for guest.
2nd floor room has no view of the beaches as they are below the sand dune. I would suggest booking the 3rd or 4th floor rooms if a view of the beach is expected. Beach chairs and umbrellas are not included with the rooms so be prepared to pay and get there early as they go quickly..

Excellent and the staff was wonderful.

One staff stood out the most. He was friendly, accommodating, accepting, helpful, informative , his name is Jesus . ( just a shout out for his work/ business acumen )
We liked how it was very close to the beach. And areas around. Walking. Biking.
We loved our room. Spacious.
We loved the shower. (dual showers)
And parking is free.
The room we were initially given ( tho says, "something" view, was blocked with the top part of "shrubs"/ natural greenery. sure we can still see "some" of the view ( the view as advertised ) but it was mostly the view of shrubs. The advertisement tho factual wasn't very accurate. It was misleading. We asked to be moved to another room with the same "something etc. view" ( same grade) , And Jesus (person at desk) was helpful & kind enough to be able to make it happen. "Still on the same -view- but not hindered with the majority of its local shrubbery".
Word of advice: Don't get the rooms close to or above the "open grounds area- from the restaurant"
( where the shrubbery is ). Ask what room they are assigning you . And If you did get the room that's just mostly "shrubbery" I suggest/recommend for a diff room or get a discount rate especially for the "price" that we pay for, the view grade/rate. We're not paying to see green grounds below and mostly overlooks the shrubbery.
So, I didn't like the "inaccurate description". There was no transparency.
( tho they did move our room. At least almost 2 hours of time was wasted on this. And also the expectation when we arrived, wanting to see a great view, we're disappointed to see mostly shrubs. It was really a downer. Especially we just wanted to relax, enjoy, after a long trip) we weren't at all compensated for that. What a shame.
So, we also didn't like not being compensated for our wasted time ( when we could've just been assigned a better room ( with the same view grade price)
We also didn't like they bikes they had for "free" to use. They weren't aligned/ the handlebars-wheel. Seat kept going askew.
We also didn't like the food esp. From a high end hotel/ resort. Got some sort of mud pie dessert.
