Great location, nice big room, lovely fore
Bed needs updating, would have been great to have blankets to enjoy the outdoor deck

The gas fireplace was a really nice feature. The staff was nice, the room had everything working, the linens were fresh and clean. There was an easy after hours check-in process. They quickly addressed an issue we had with the dishwasher, once the office was open. The property is easy to access and to drive to nice hiking spots.
Honestly the photos made the property appear much nicer than it was. The bathroom ceiling was leaking, the radiators were rusty. The floors and bathroom were clean otherwise. The sofa bed was not the greatest, if I had not of prepaid, I probably would have found another place to stay. I wished on the booking it would tell you more about the specific unit you were assigned as I think they are all different. Ours was on the ground floor, with a side entrance and it was quite basic.

Clean room, really comfy bed and friendly staff
Small TV, loud neighbors, dated room, no restaurant
9.0
view of the harbour
board walk was closed and in need of repairs

Lack of privacy by the hot tub. The neighbor could just stare right at us

Fantastic location, great view, plenty of space.
Two adults had to sleep on the sofa, which was quite uncomfortable. A small bridge to the town would be nice. Without that you have to walk quite a long way to the Centre. On the other hand, it was just a 2 minute ride by car.

Location! Location! as they say. Perfectly quiet at night, not too much hassle of a day time, this hotel is exactly what I was looking for to spend a few days away from the city and ride a bike on the new trail from Ucluelet to Tofino. Great trail, almost finished exept some 900 m by the intersection. Our room had a nice view over the small craft harbor which is an entertainment by itself. Kitchen was well equipped and living room was spacious and clean. Free parking next to you suite is a great bonus here.
Small things like broken drawers handles in a bedroom or damage decorative plate in living room. Sofa is not comfortable anymore in room #804 but overall the suite has good value for the money we left there. Lookin forward to visit again. Hopefully the road to Ucluelet from Port Alberni gets fixed in next year. It's overdue.

Gorgeous location and views of the inlet and mountains, very peaceful.
Interieur dated and somewhat run down, cleaning could have been more thorough.

Property is excellent with incredible views and glance of wild life at times.

It was really warm. lots of space.
Sofa bed wasn't comfortable (10 and 12 year old children slept on it; the 12 year-old slept on the couch cushions on the second night).
Main bed was very soft and not great for us. This is probably just a preference so not a criticism.

it was a nice room. the tub on the deck was lovey
our view was of a swampy shore of ocean, parking wasn’t the greatest.

Jacuzzi, view, kitchen, tv. Comfortable and homey.
Pillows. I'd bring my own next time

The view of the harbour both day and night was lovely. The amenities were all clean and inviting.
The parking made me a little anxious in its close-quarters and seeming potential for unavailability.

The room is very well appointed and the location is perfect
2 things - 1. The quality of the Kleenex tissue could not be worse. Cheapest I have ever had in a hotel.
2. The stairs to the second floor are killers if you are not young and fit. The stair height is not consistent and there is no back on the steps. We cannot stay 5here again because of this but we are seniors…

Great views, spacious, all the basic kitchen needs. Loved the bathtub on the balcony listening to sea lions! Great spot to slow down, relax and worked well for working remotely.

We had a beautiful stay at Water's Edge Suites. Such a gorgeous view and really peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was fully equipped for our needs and we were warm and cosy for the time we were there.
I was able to have a massage and facial on site at the day spa which was soooo relaxing too!
The pillows were pretty uncomfortable and too high, meaning my neck felt sore. The hot tub isn't a hot tub, just an outdoor bath that runs out of hot water. That being said, it was lovely to sit in there on cold days.

Utter comfort in cozy setting overlooking the water.
Driveway and road in had major potholes… a paving would be good.

Well appointed suite with everything in the kitchen you need for your stay including a tea pot. Comfy gas fire place, patio with Adirondack chairs. View of the harbour with seals and otters swimming by your window.
No tea cozy for the tea pot.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a view of the Ucluelet Inlet, what we call Seal Highway. There was so much activity in the water with seals, a sea lion, boats, kayaks, a float plane, and birds that we turned the chairs to face the windows so we could sit comfortably and watch.
I was disappointed we didn't have a bathtub on our deck. I thought I booked one, but I guess I made a mistake. I could see the tubs on other decks and no one was using them. Too bad.

Could hear sea lions from the balcony.
