Nice location, old inn with some charm

Brutal place and customer service outrageously bad

Don't go there, the place is absolutly filthy. The bathroom was disgusting, specially the shower handle bars who reeked and were orange. I tried to wash it off with a towel, it was outrageously disgusting, (see the photo) and that's only one of the 3 handle bars. I reported it to the reception, they told me nonchalantly to talk about it with booking.com. They did not take responsability or offer any kind of excuses. We had to shower with slides on and were afraid to touch anything. Also the AC unit was making an infernal noise. By far the worst experience I had in a hotel/motel.

The management/employees were nice

The Resort was out of date and the amenities in our room were under par

Short and almost sweet stay.

Clean and comfortable, fireplace was lovely. Grounds were well kept.

Hot water was only luke warm and the bathroom sink was blocked. Unfortunately once we checked out, they charged us for taking towels, which we did not do. That was a big disappointment.

Very bad ventilation. I could not sleep at all . i want to leave this hotel as soon as possible and get refund for the rest stay.

It was a lovely property and our King room was very nice with fireplace and economical prices.

The room was nice with a King Bed and Fireplace.

We could have used more glasses and the floor was not so clean. Breakfast was ok. We prefer a hot breakfast.

I would not go again.

I liked the grounds.

There was a hole under the old and damaged flooring in the middle of the room so I felt the need to wear shoes inside. Eew. The smell of disinfectant was horrible. But a bottle of extra strength Fabreeze and turning on heating and air con fan helped with that. Note: one lousy pillow person.

Good

It was expensive for what you got but that I think has more to do with pandemic recovery and inflammation. It was an ok room pillows and bed where below standard room was dark, bathroom fundamental. Clean and a pretty location. Great for a no fuss place to stay

The service was ok.

Very unclean. Lots of hair everywhere and the bathtub wasn't cleaned. Breakfast was not included, which it was stated online that it was.

The location is good but I would not stay again.

The location was great. The room was spacious. Close to the Gananogue City Cruise line. Nice walk to the lake. The water in the shower was great, once you manage to choose the right setting. The packed breakfast was actually very good, to our surprise.

WiFi barely worked. A lot of noise from the families around. Outdated rooms. The staff was not very nice. Overall, we expected something totally different, taking into account the price we've paid and the Booking reviews we've read in advance.

It was fine. Very overpriced.

The rooms were clean enough. The location is good. I was glad to be able to find a room with three double beds so we could travel with our three children.

Very musty smelling. Beds weren't very comfortable; the bedding was very lightweight and cheap, along with the pillows (and a stingy one pillow per person). The beds weren't quite made when we arrived. The lamps are from 1967 and probably not up to code. It was very expensive compared to other places we have stayed which made all of this just that much more disappointing.

The bed was not comfortable l felt the springs on my back woke up with a bad back. I was happy that it was for one day only the reservation.

I won't go back. We will stay elsewhere. There is a great choice of accommodations in Gananoque.

not as advertised. Noisy place. you can hear people speaking throughout the walls, rattling windows, vibration throughout the floors.
