Convenient location for overnight stay enroute home.
TV operation was not intuitive for this senior; instructions would have helped.
4.5
The room had a very Scandinavian feel to it which I loved.
This is not a complaint but it would be helpful if there was a small towel bar by the sink.
4.5
The location is perfect, everything from malls to grocery to restaurants were all in 5 min drive away.
I have a pet dog and they were very welcoming with guests and their pets.
The room was clean and furnished with modern facilities.
Great place, would come back again.
Pool was out of service.
4.5
The location was good and it was clean. The new shower was nice too. Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. Tv was nice size.
The window was loose and we were afraid someone could break in. There was no 2nd lock inside of room. There was a 1 inch gap under the front door so bugs and critters could come in. The lighting was bright-no subtle bedside lights. The new sink seemed over sized and left little countertop space.
No pool - expected to be able to swim as advertised so was very disappointed.
Didn’t get Netflix’s or Prime Video channels as expected. Also disappointing.

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The staff was kind.
No conditioner given. Noisy. Pool closed.

Newly renovated roms and exterior, great shower
Bathroom sink is odd and easy to overshoot with the type of faucet installed.

The renovations are continuing but the works wasn't super noticeable, other than all the supplies stacked in the parking lot and the groups of workers hanging around the rooms...was a little uncomfortable, at times, having them watching me...
The dual head shower is still great! Best pressure in a shower in any of the multiple hotels I've stayed in.
New lobby layout looks good too...
The tap on the sink is still rally loud. Would be disruptive if I was staying with someone else.

The room was fresh and clean and had new amenities. I liked the coffee in the room, the options on the tv were nice.
it was great

Excellent location for walking, shops, restaurants.
Staff were ever so friendly and eager to help.
Bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower.
I can see they are working on improvements.
Construction during the day.
Tiny bathroom.
It's too bad they are not hooked up to Shaw Cable.
The pool is under repairs but staff advised it would reopen during summer months.

Amazing shower! Comfortable bed!

Newly renovated but still under construction. Large TV.
TV didn't work so we had to move rooms. The new room had no pillows so we had to bring them from the first room. The door has no weather stripping so we could hear the traffic all night.
4.5
The location was perfect for my purposes. I appreciated getting my room long before the official checking-in time, because I was somewhat burdened with stuff (skis, etc.)
There needs to be a proper chair in the room. The only place to sit was the bed. The strange appendage on one side of the bed does not count as a “chair”. That so-called “chair” is not one that you could sit in to read a book, for example, because there’s no lighting.

Clean close by is restaurant for breakfast/lunch. Close to
Big shopping Center. And another shopper center 1 1/2 blocks away. A theatre is a block away. Tim
Hortons gas station. And provincial office are all within a block away.
Your booking system. When I tried to
Book through you you said there were no vacancies when I first signed in. Good thing I didn’t listen to you

Friendly staff person Val greeted us as soon as we arrived. She gave us all the information we needed and escorted me to the room. Hotel is noticeably older but we were told they were renovating and it was a lot to do. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was great!
The outside property needs to be more inviting but that being said things will improve I suspect as work is being done currently. missing from our room was a desk chair and coffee maker which was not a deal breaker but would have been helpful.
4.5
Nothing. The property was a 'flop house' ran by a housing organisation and hadn't been used as a hotel for about 2 years. Disgraceful that this property is still being advertised on Booking.com. Even more so, allowing us to pay for it and getting a confirmation and PIN number. Shame on you!!

We got into a car accident. I asked for a waived fee as it was not our fault we did not make it. I was not refunded.
So this just put a dirty taste in my mouth.

Quiet and the place has rules to be careful and quiet. I loved that the clientele included so many up coast First Nations guests, felt like home. I would like an option for a flatter pillow on the bed but all else was fine. thanks for the back of the building where it is secluded and quiet for noise at night.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, but this time will be my last. This hotel has really gone down hill. The rooms have 2 beds in a space that should only have one. This is a new addition and makes the room very tight. Hard to get in and out of the bed on the one side. The corner of the room where the luggage rack was smelled like urine. There were mattresses stacked outside by the dumpster and it looked as if people were living in this motel. Quite messy outside some of the units. Not a safe feeling staying at this location
Won't be back.

Clean.
Nearly empty but they still gave us a room with a terrible view of the parking lot. The windows in the hallway were wide open and it was freezing.
4.5
Staff were friendly when we checked in even though we arrived late in the evening. Room was clean.
The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, so had no sleep at all. Everything digs into your back and hips. Provided feedback to the hotel but received no response.
4.5
It was decently clean for how sketchy the property was. You could tell there were a lot of interesting people Staying at this hotel. However, I know what I paid for so overall it wasn’t bad. If you are looking for “luxury” this hotel is not it.
Very small rooms, limited hot water and water pressure
4.5
Decent guests making the best of hard times.
Didn’t like getting asked to leave because we have a miniature pig as a pet. Other guests absolutely loved it but not the managers
4.5
It is a decent place, low end but comfortable.
Traffic noise. and room cleanliness was shocking upon arrival, wrt dishes and cutlery that were dirty,.. unbelievable that this could happen. i complained and they washed what i brought them.
4.5
Nothing. The only thing I might like about this property is if I get my refund.
People were smoking everywhere, the room smelt so bad of smoke, there was an argument going on in the common deck area, there were mattresses out of one of the rooms, not sure what was going on there. A cat on a leash. There was a noticeable drug deal going on. Just really bad. I didn’t realize it but I believe this is hotel/government funded housing.
DO NOT STAY HERE! photos are not a true reflection of the place.
4.5
I liked the location. Easy to get around , drive and walking especially
The room still smells of smoke, even though it was a none smoking room

I arrived at the hotel after midnight
Very weary from traveling all day
The customer service was excellent
I was helped by the night clerk in getting my bags to my room
The room was very clean and comfortable
It is an older hotel but so clean and in excellent condition!
I will book by calling directly next time
The last hotel I had booked in Winnipeg through this site was disgusting and unsafe.
Nothing could have been better
It met all expectations for my overnight stay!
4.5
Not much.
It says breakfast, and there is nothing. Our friends reserved a king size bed and they got 1 queen and a kitchen sink. When asked if we could get the king, they said the kitchen was an upgrade.
Old, dated chairs. Mold in the bathroom grout. Dirty carpet. Wore my socks and they were black! Opened a cupboard door and someone had thrown in a liquor bag all crumpled up.... It really was in sad repair.
4.5
The price-perfomance ratio was great, perfect for a short stay.
Everything you needed (for a short stay) was available.
The door to the bathroom got jammed almost everytime you wanted to close it.
There was a weird smell in the bathroom, probably because the air didn't circulate properly.

We will never stay here again, slum motel.

Location was convenient.
I reserved a two queen bed, kitchenette. The kitchenette was horrendous. Only one burner worked, the proper kitchenware wasn’t available, no cutting board, no pasta pot etc. I went to the front desk twice and they weren’t able to help and the one gentleman acted like I was inconveniencing him.
The suite smelt like a urnal when we arrived as well. Giant wolf spiders in our room as well. Just an overall very unpleasant stay. I will be avoiding all travelodges in my future work endeavors due to this horrible experience. Get charged for an barely functional kitchenette and when I asked for a discount he said no…

Staff were all super friendly and helpful. They made sure the room I booked was next to the one booked by other family members, even though they were separate reservations. The location was great!
Room smelled a bit like it may have once been a smoking room. Not too bad. There had obviously been an effort to deodorize any lingering smell. Missing the breakfast (it was great last time) which is not being offered due to COVID.
