Very clean, large room with comfy beds, even nice smelling linens! My room had a new TV with great lineup of cable channels plus fridge and microwave.
I don't like that checkout is 10am - a fact that wasn’t mentioned upon checking in (but at least they were thoughtful and didn't knock at my door till nearly 11am). I resent that this property charged a $100 deposit on my TD Visa Debit ?? meaning I had to visit the front desk prior to leaving to get my refund. Angry owners felt entitled to loudly yell, curse and argue with me ad nauseum. Shame on you! but in this review I stuck to the facts.

Very friendly staff. And a big family room with lots of beds, reasonable price.
Things could always be newer, cleaner, etc but it was a good place to stay in Drumheller.

Good parking. Close to amenities. Fridge.
Breakfast minimal and started too late. Had to leave last day before they opened.

Location and last owners of the lodge.
I received nosy smoking room that was not clean. I refused and asked for another. At 10:30PM I was told to get lost. I am still waiting for my money to be refunded....

The owners were very helpful. They gave me a room close to the office when they noticed I had a bad knee. The lodge is across from a shoppers and from a great restaurant and pub. The room was big with a nice sofa and a comfortable bed.

the only positive was the price…. and some would argue we overpaid.
There was so much we didn’t like!! here are the top four:
-Room 124 is sorely in need of some attention. The door lockset was poorly installed. The door lock got stuck intermittently. The obvious damage on the door frame suggests someone was locked inside and had to hack or pry their way out. (Literally!)
-The floor tiles are damaged and lifting…making them a tripping hazard.
-The microwave and fridge run very LOUDLY. (Setting a piece luggage on top of the microwave helped to muffle the rattling noise.)
-The wifi was not consistent. One of us was able to sign on… the other was not. Asking the man at the front desk for assistance was a waste of time. He was less than helpful and very dismissive.

Clean and very affordable.
Big pick up trucks parked outside our rooms and started diesel engines at 430 am and ran it for 30 minutes!!!!!!! Couldn't sleep and room filled with diesel fumes.

Like a hot cooked breakfast.

Bathroom could have been bigger. Toilet paper placed in front of the sink got wet.

Location is an advantage
The smell from old carpet. We saw Mosquito flying around the room. Lighting not good

The breakfast included was great. With young kids, I don't have to rush to prepare or go to a restaurant.
Two double and one twin bed perfect for a family of 5.
Not sure if that's the heat or water system, it kept making clicking sound on the ceiling of the room. We were on the second floor (top floor, room 204). It's quite annoying.

Breakfast was passable. Location was very convenient. Adequate parking. Nice and quiet.
A better selection for breakfast would have been nice. And the NO SMOKING NEAR DOORS and ACs was not being enforced. This needs to be addressed. Non-smokers have every right NOT to be exposed to secondhand carcinogenic disgusting smelling smoke.

The staff were so friendly and hospitable.

we liked that the hotel was close to most of are activities we planned for the trip. liked each room had a separate entrance and the office was easy to fined. had enough space for the 3 adults + 2 kids that stayed in the room.
are room wasn’t cleaned properly before are check in. there was dust on the bed headboard, the toilet needed a wipe, the bathroom door was hard to close and open, and the fridge wasn’t working fully (took over night for the drinks to get cold). also the parking was a bit hard, very cramped.

Two queen size beds were firm and clean. The extra sink outside the closed off bathroom was a bonus for two people getting ready. the room was nice and spacious. Fridge and microwave included an added bonus. location good for walking anywhere in Drumheller. breakfast provided had all you need to start your day.
Not a lot of parking right by the room but the hotel was full the night we stayed. we felt the price of $179 was a little high for an econolodge in a small town.

The location was very quiet and pleasant. Staff were more than accommodating when I had a late check in and then accidentally locked myself out of the room. The room was clean and had updated furnishings and flooring, and was a good size. A/C worked very well.
Not enough parking in the lot, didn't like having to park my vehicle on the street. Beds were okay but the pillows were really small and uncomfortable.

location.
wooden floor makes noise
bathtub clogs if shower for a while
smoke detector dazzling flash during sleep. should be out of sight.
truck or construction noise in the middle of the night (around 4pm maybe). couldn’t sleep until it stopped after 30 min or so. couldn’t tell if it’s a routine thing or mere coincidence.
