Immaculately clean. Good location on the river.
One of the receptionists put me off right away with her perceived unfriendly and uncooperative attitude. The other receptionist was younger and she was outstanding IMO.

River View.
That we'd booked a room with 2 double beds, but only a room with 1 double bed was available.

Very disappointing. The toilet flush was broken, fixed and broken again on first night so unable to flush loo. The standard is poor no where near the U.K. travelodge standard. We had pre booked for four nights but after one night we complained. The lady in reception was lovely and offered to refund three nights, hence we only paid fot the one night.
The room we had needs a makeover

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Has a nice view in the back rooms and a nice little walk way along the river.
Breakfast was included, cereals, yogourt, toast, muffins, tea, coffee ,juice and one pancake machine which gets backed up. It's served in the lobby. Room was a good size for our family with 3 double beds. Was clean
Overall I would stay again as it was the cheapest place we found and we are not too picky, just keep in mind it is not a glamorous place.
Now a days everything is over priced.
The hotel is older and needs an upgrade, it's definitely a "cheap" hotel, nothing glamorous. Since breakfast is in the lobby there's no where to sit, only outside or in your rooms, luckily it was a warm morning in the sun and outback has picnic tables too. Before arriving I called and asked if they had a crib for our son, they said the website says there's one but they don't have one. Then when we arrived we asked just incase and it turned out they did have one but gave it to a different guest... This was a little frustrating since I had called and asked plus requested it when booking. Luckily we did bring our own too so wasn't a big deal.

Location was good and restaurant nearby was good, breakfast was standard continental
Nothing really to dislike, other than the room coffee was a bit weak maybe upgrade the quality or brand.

Continental Breakfast was good.
There was no water pressure in the shower or hot water. It was not advertised that the rooms on the 2 floor had not elevator and were at the back of the building. There was no ice machine and the reception desk did not want to give us ice.

Fan/ heaters from other umit was quite loud. Rooms could use updating.

We liked the motion sensor for the bathroom light. We liked the parking lot because there was plenty of room. Bed linens and towels were plenty with 4 full pillows per bed. Quiet spot for rest with easy access to a superb burger joint named The Old Grouch. Continental breakfast was adequate for 8am start on the adventures in the area. Picnic tables and areas outside were clean and presented well for guests. Location for a visit to Drumheller very good and price reasonable
There was no clean remote program. Look it up and tell others. Room 217 needs a new shower curtain. USB plug ins for modern gadgets would be an improvement.

I checked out before 7:30 am so I did not have access to the breakfast.

There was a kitchenette that has the basics and it allowed us to make simple meals. Breakfast was great with the waffle machine and strawberry syrup.
Its a bit old but expected.

the friendly staff and service
the parking lot was covered with cigarette buts maybe because of the snow and ice was hard to remove and not much for continental breakfast I do not care for any continental breakfasts

I liked that I was close to the activities that were planned for my family
The hotel was awful. There are no laundry facilities as stated on the website when we booked and no hot water for either of our 2 nights stay. I was "compensated" $40 for my $265 bill. We only stayed the second night because we were assured it would be fixed! Likel, the cartridge just needs to be replaced.
It didn't help that they put a barking dog right beside us on the last night, either.
NOT A GOOD LOCATION IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN

The woman at reception was very friendly, helpful (delivering ice to our room) and responsive (taking measures to address the ice that had formed on the sidewalks once the temperature of the day dropped). The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was a bit of noise from the neighbouring room(s), but there was little or no traffic noise. When we indicated that we would be leaving before the 8am start of breakfast, we were invited to take available items from the breakfast area back to our room the night before.
From the description of a “Superior Room” on “Booking.com” we were expecting a queen bed plus a sofa which we thought would allow us a little more space within the room. Instead, the room had two queen beds with little space between them and the kitchenette. The television remote would not allow us to adjust the volume on the TV nor allow us to turn off the TV once we had finished watching for the evening. It would have been nice to have some sort of instructions on how to turn on/off the TV and power box without having to guess on its operation. The heater was very noisy. The room became quite cool when the heater was not on. However, when turned on the room did warm up quite quickly.

got there late/early due to bad logistics and vehicle troubles.. didn’t get to check in at 5am and had to go elsewhere. stayed there before but cost me three hours back tracking and two other hotels before I found another place to stay. it happens just extremely inconvenient. sure theirs good reasoning. but was there?
I wish I got to see it

Very pleasant receptionist and breakfast was fine.
There was a lot of ice in the parking lot. My husband is 88 years old and was very nervous getting from our vehicle to the room.

We loved our stay at the Travelodge! We came on a very cold weekend to enjoy the Royal Tyrell Museum. We arrived late but check-in was great. The room was cozy and plenty warm when we arrived. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent and very close to everything in Drumheller. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy more of the beautiful surroundings. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again and would recommend it.
