The strategic position and view with an athmosphere of the '50s.
Unexpected cost: the breakfast very simple and stadard have been charged for 35 $.

Hotel dinner was great
Bathroom was small and lacked counter space. Our room only had hot water and it was scalding hot. Hotel needs upgrades. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful art deco gem
Even though our reservation CLEARLY stated that breakfast was included had to spend 1 hour talking to 3 hotel employees showing them my reservation to finally get a breakfast voucher. Finally got the breakfast buffet and had to wait 45 minutes for the eggs and waffles. There are no coffee maker in the room or cups. But the absolute worse is the parking next to the garage is not owned by them. When departing, there is very little signage and you have to walk through an underground maze. Finally, gave up and walked street level into the garage but no pedestrian entrance. Called customer service to open the door ( it was noon) and no one answered. Finally a car came and I tried to walk in and the parking garage arm came down and almost knocked me unconscious. The Netherland Plaza was recently sold to new owners and it s now very poorly managed. Too bad, because it is an art deco gem. Oh, and my room was $300 a night so not inexpensive.

The open feeling each common area presented as well as or room size. The 1931 decor was very nice.
There is a need to update the room’s window blinds or curtains to match and function.

We did not eat breakfast as the options for breakfast came at to high of cost considering we are light eaters in the morning. The Lunch was very good and reasonably priced. We were there for three days. We had little TP and Kleenex and ran out immediately. I don’t expect bed making but towels should have been restocked each day. We ran out of those too. The beds were wonderfully comfortable as well as pillows. The junior suite was spacious and decorated well.

Close to the venue we had tickets for.
The staff is not trained on the systems they use for reservations. The items on the menus in the rooms were not available in the actual restaurant. There was no hot water. When asked staff where something was he said, “I don’t know” because it was an inconvenience. When told about hot water issue, they said they knew but didn’t inform anyone, pushed the situation off on the third party reservation host, instead of taking responsibility.

The location was nice. The pictures online were beautiful and we were really looking forward to our visit.
The room was stained walls/furniture, dirty and dated. Several things were needing repair including 4 burned out lightbulbs, big sector of missing caulk on sink.
4.5
The room had a big bathtub

The hotel is an Art Deco masterpiece, the public spaces are absolutely wonderful. Few hotels can match this level of historic magnificence. The staff was very nice and helpful, went out of their way to show us rooms that were usually not open to view. Very reasonable rates.
The rooms are smallish, but very nicely appointed and clean. I really don't have a complaint with them as one wants to be in the public spaces as much as possible.

The room was comfortable, but for the price of pay for it, it wasn’t clean

Was older style and I felt like I was in Home Alone Lost in New York not Cincinnati
Thought the process for what the room was was over priced with the exception of the view

The hotel on the outside was a historical location and was in a wonderful location in respect to the venue for my sister's wedding.
The staff when we first checked in were rude to my husband when he asked a couple questions, the room was very small for what we paid also. We paid a total of 457 dollars for two nights for my sister's wedding and we don't feel this was worth that much at all. Our room was pretty small for that price.

Location was great. Close to everything
Walls were thin. Heard a kid yelling through wall from room next door. Was going on all morning! Shower tub was very small and uncomfortable.

Convenient to the reds game
I messaged 3 times for someone to call me or message back and no one did. We found a syringe in the bathroom. The bathtub was falling threw the floor and the water wasn’t warm at night or in morning when taking a shower. Also the elevator was confusing
2.5
The location, close to the city’s waterfront district, was good.
The hotel, built in 1931, is in need of renovation. It is tired and worn. We felt like we had entered a scene from “The Shining.” Definitely overpriced for its condition.

Location was perfect for anyone participating in the Flying Pig events. They also gave us an extra hour to check out (12pm). We were provided a handicap accessible room without requesting it, and it was very spacious.
Our shower head was terrible (only one setting and it sprayed everywhere soaking the floor unless you held it in your hand). We were traveling with a 2-year-old and requested a crib during check-in, a few hours later called twice to check the status of the crib, and eventually had to go down to the front desk before they finally delivered it to our room.

Right in the downtown area close to everything. Staff was very nice and accommodating I had paid for a 2 room suite and when I arrived I was in a big one room suite they made the switch to my correct room right away with no hassle. Loved the old parts still there and the shops.
The lunch and dinner menu at the hotel restaurant was just a bit too fancy. No food my kids would of wanted. And there was no microwave in the room.

Our room was horrible!!! The bathroom was tiny and the needed updating. My mother tried taking a shower and the tray at the bottom was hollow. It is a wonder that she didn’t fall through. I attempted to make my mother some coffee in the morning and to my horror the cups had already been used!!! Disgusting!!!! The room was outdated and all of the furniture was shoved to one side of the room. And this was a SUITE!!! We never saw housekeeping on our floor and that is a first for me.
Room was horrible.

The only complaint is I went inside the restaurant with my wife and we was ignored and not attended to for 30 minutes before eventually just walking out and leaving
