Nice a cozy. With a wood burning fireplace.
I wish they had a couple of hooks over the bench at the front door to hang wet jackets.

The location was great, close to all amenities, the hosts were friendly and helped us with whatever we needed.
A divider between the rooms were were in and the main lounge area where other guests were staying. Just for extra privacy when walking on that end of the house.

Quiet, safe area a few minutes walk from the river. Host is very friendly and welcoming. Very clean and cosy.

Reasonable price, friendly & helpful host, clean and comfortable accommodations, pet friendly, free WiFi and a cozy atmosphere.
A little earlier check in time would have been more convenient for us.

Wondering view and friendly host was definitely accommodating

The space was very private and comfortable.
The location feels very remote but is only a short drive to the nearest shops and restaurants.
I was able to bring my dog with me as this place is pet friendly.
My host (Jess) lit the fire for me each evening while I was out, so I came back to a very warm and cozy space which I was very grateful for.

Breakie was not included although a fully sufficent and clean kitchen was along with additional supplies ie: coffee, hot chocolate,spices...
It was perfect. There was nothing I didn't like. I went in the middle of winter, snow and all. They kept the drive and walkways clesr and salted. I would imagine summertime would be only more beautibul.

The owner was delightful and made us feel
Very welcome right from the beginning. She also was very gracious about our pets that were travelling with us.
The owner made us a fire in the shared living space fireplace. So lovely.
The rooms each had two single beds, and the cleanliness was lovely.
The shared living space has a full sized fridge.
No fault of the owner, the booking.com listing doesn’t allow for a full explanation of the rental. The rooms we booked were as the Riverbend Guest house which has two bedrooms and a bathrooms which were lovely. However they do have shared living space with the room rental called the Retreat Room which gives the Retreat Room guests access to our bathroom & rooms (if not locked). The owner did let me know this after we booked so that was very nice of her. We also ended up not having to share the space at all, which was nice for us. :-)
It would be lovely to have a lockable door at the end of the hallway going to the two bedrooms and bathroom from the shared living space. This would have made our stay more comfortable if we had had to share the shared living space with anyone during our 3 night stay.
The food prep counter in the shared living space has no water, and the appliances (kettle, coffee maker, hot plate, & toaster) run off a power bar that kept being overloaded even when trying to run one appliance only. (Such as the kettle or coffee maker).

Location was perfect..in the country and peaceful. The cabin was awesome clean and cozy with everything we needed. The owner was accommodating friendly and to see us. Was able to answer all our questions about the area to our satisfaction. Would recommend the property to anyone looking for a cozy getaway close to nature.
Was nothing to dislike.

The HUGE log bed was so cool looking, the cabin is cute & cozy & I loved the moose themed lamp,& mugs!
I personally found the bed a little too firm since I have an extremely soft bed at home and the water pressure in the shower was a little weak.

This is a beautiful location only 10 mins from the city. It is a pleasant drive right along the river. From the guesthouse, a 3 minute walk will take you right to the river and an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and are very quick to respond to emails/questions.
The cabin itself is very cozy, has a king bed and a double sofabed, full bathroom, fridge with microwave, kitchen sink, table and chairs, very fast wi-fi, a tv with netflix, a fire pit and a bbq! We didn't bring our golden doodle, but dogs are welcome here also.
We liked everything and would happily stay here again on our next visit to chilliwack.

No cell coverage. On 2nd thought, not so bad.

property is beautiful, full of trees and very pleasant!
The place is clean and the owners are always reachable and very kind.
I wish there was a sink in the little kitchen inside the guesthouse. Anyways, owners are very kind and offer to wash the dishes upstairs and bring it back clean!

Coming from Vancouver it was nice to be in a place that is quiet. We enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the many places to explore as well as access to shops and restaurants.
It would have been nice to have another tea towel and vegie peeler in the kitchen.

Perfect location: 10 minutes to the city, 10 minutes to my favourite fishing hole on the river
It was smoky for 2 days due to the forest fires in BC.
