It’s histrionic looking would be great for a major event like a wedding
The prize was too high!! Rooms very small and outdated

Staff was professional and helpful. The accommodations were wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were both clean.
Breakfast was way too expensive for the quality of the food we received. It was confusing as to which was the basic and which was the more expensive buffet. However, in my experience the price did not match the quality of the food or the selection of food available.

The hotel was elegant and steps from 4th street live, but still quiet
The room was quite small and the bathroom even smaller. Lovely and well appointed, but small. The bed was as hard as a rock, and both hubby and I woke up with a backache.

The decor and history of hotel.
No hot water in the mornings.

Location
Staff was not friendly. Housekeeping knocked on our door EVERY morning EARLY, The amenities of shower products were empty and never filled. The night Bartender definitely must hate his job. Room was supposed to have a giveaway bed. It was hid obviously in the storage room because we had tonrequest it and was told hopefully we have one left. Not sure what to do if we dont!!

The history of the hotel. The staff. The bar and bourbon selection. Anything you needed for your room, they were on it.
Who I was there with.

We had no expectations other than we wanted to learn more about the property and the ghost. The evening staff were lovely, and had really good drinks at the bar. Quiet room although smaller than expected.
We were unsure where to park, not much staff around at night to inform us which door to use, so we pulled on a few. We couldn't find the ice machine, not even sure if there are any.
However, with these bring our only issues, that's just fine with me.

Beautiful historical architecture. Location is perfect. Five star service, as I expected from a hotel of this stature. I cannot commend the staff of the hotel and the restaurants enough - they were amazing.
The room was small and cramped. The toilet ran most of the night. All sounds from the hallway drifted into the room, disturbing our sleep because of the voices of the multiple late night guests in the hallway. The drawers in the furniture did not function properly, so we did not use them. No mini-fridge, could not store cold beverages/snacks in the room. Mattress was hard, pressing on all pressure points, not making for a restful sleep.

The hotel itself was beautiful
Upon check in, the gentleman never made eye contact with me..Didnt bother to explain that I needed to use my hotel key in order for the elevator to work..thanks to a fellow hotel guest, after my husband and I changed elevators twice thinking something was wrong. The room wasn't what I reserved. Bed size barely fit my husband and I..only 1 set of towels for 2 reserved guests. No hot water the next morning for showers. Upon check out, the young lady made excuses for my concerns. Will not be returning for future stays
The valet service was by far the best highlight of our stay. The gentleman were very engaging and eager to help.

The facility was gorgeous, and the bar served an excellent variety of drinks and food. The best part, however, was meeting Larry Johnson and spending time with him on the historical tour of the Seelbach! He is a treasure, for sure!
I was disappointed that in-room dining was not available. For this coffee drinker having coffee other than the room coffee is a must!
