The location is excellent, not too far out of Santa Cruz and offers a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of town
The sofa in the room could have done with a clean

Clean, good location, and access to the gym were all positive
I won’t stay at this location again. First, when I made the booking, it said breakfast was included. This was the main reason why I booked this hotel versus the hotel I usually stay at. The “breakfast buffet” (bagels, cereal, yogurt) actually cost $24 per person! This is not a hot meal prepared by a cook/chef rather the standard free breakfast many hotels offer. Fortunately, there is a coffee shop across the street. We went there instead. Also, the hotel charges $10 per night for parking. To be clear, this is Scotts Valley, not Santa Cruz. There is an abundance of parking. This is just another way to make a buck. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I feel this is warranted.

Clean. Good sized room.
We weren’t told we had to request maid service, the maid did not replenish the coffee, sugar and cream. Lack of towels provided.

Great location and the structure of it
The water would go down properly in the bathtub

Very nice and hidden Location with nice view.
Paying for parking. Having a sticker saying the vehicle is registered to stay at the property and having an assigned parking space depending on room location.

I am yet to receive the 100 dollars held up by the hotel.

Great hotel in a lovely location. Close to Santa Cruz, but far enough away for it to be a peaceful break. I liked the bar area, it was very relaxing by the fire on an evening.
The towels by the pool could have been slightly larger

Large rooms and bathroom, comfortable beds, allowed pets for $100 non refundable fee
Mold around the windows, kind of far from lots of attractions

Would have been better to have breakfast included!

Imposante Lobby, freundliches Personal. Sauber.
Personal erstaunlich wenig ortskundig (bzgl Parkmöglichkeiten in Santa Cruz). Überteuert.

They had a nice gym and pool, along with a convenient little snack bar by the front desk.
I wasn’t told that you needed someone 21+ to check into the room, so we were stranded with no way of getting the room we paid for. Most hotels are 19, so I wish it was better advertised. We also weren’t told that there would be a parking fee every night, on-top of a $100 deposit. Finally, we didn’t get room service a single day out of the three days we stayed - we had trash compiling in our room with nobody to take care of it. Hotel was very nice, but it’s ridiculous how poorly we were treated as guests

Locatie, jacuzzi en kamerruimte
Slechts 1 lift, bar is om 11u dicht, kunnen geen New York Sour maken? Er kwam tijdens drie overnachtingen niet 1 keer een kameronderhoud geven…

The area
The room. We were told that we were getting a room with view. The room we got faced the roof. Which if fine except we got charged for a view. The cost they advertise for it was not true.

Hilton brand, and the staff.
Inability to join reservations and room logistics. Housekeeping failed to empty 1 of 2 trash baskets plus omitted cream and sugar condiments on the coffee tray, yet changed the bed. They appear to be lean on staff and training.

Location good. Close to freeway and stores stores.
The shower water faucet handle would not dispense cold water. Scalded my feet in hot water. Had a family member try it as well. Took several minutes to get water temp correct. Something wrong with the Guage. Refrig in room very noisy at night. No drinking water anywhere. Have to purchase water bottles for 2.00. No coffee in lobby in morning. No free breakfast when my reservations said breakfast included. Shower curtain ripped. I should never paid that much money for a room.

my husband liked it's 'castle vibe' from the outside.
we missed breakfast included in the cost of the room! we also think we left behind a toiletries item. if found by your staff, we were not informed.

Very clean, beautiful and we enjoyed the festive decorations they had up for Halloween.
Our fridge was broken. They replaced it with a different fridge right away but that fridge was just as warm as the one they replaced. Had to fill up the ice chest. The shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower was nearly empty and the tips of the pumps were a bit rusty.

Pool was about 68' and spa easily 105'. Glad the restaurant was there for a quick dinner. Food was good. They have a happy hour at the bar also. Comfortable room. Good coffee in room.
The freezer needs defrosting. I waited over 30 minutes in the lobby for a luggage transport cart and the staff was summoned to gather them up from the various floors so others could use. How selfish of other patrons to not return the carts promptly! A call was made to the desk to get help with the TV which needed a new remote. Housekeeping can't check this? Will the towel bar in room 201 ever be replaced? It is split and broken.

Rooms were clean, had plenty of USB ports for charging, mini fridge, decent TV. Pool and hot tub were nice, although the jets in the hot tub were not working. Breakfast was great, and the on site restaurant had good selections and the food was delicious.
The $10/night parking fee seems petty, as the hotel has a large parking lot and is not in walking distance of anything. Didn't see any public transit, so it seems like a hidden fee for everyone.

Perfect for one night.
Good location to visit the coast.
Possibility to wash our clothes !
Nothing.
It was to mate to have dinner after 10 pm...

The buffet was overpriced considering the cost of the rooms. We stayed here because we were part of a wedding but I would choose another hotel with free breakfast if I came back to this area.

We liked our room but I had requested a patio and they were not able to accommodate the request. The AC was not working properly in the hotel and it was a bit on the warm side. I know that the staff does not have control over that and I know it was nice to be on the bottom floor. I booked this with booking.com and it was not user friendly and when I called to change my room I was told to call booking.com. The hotel will not change your request because you booked through a 3rd party. Must be in those sneaky terms and conditions. Probably will not book with a 3rd party due to limitations. But we were alright.
The room was a little warm and we should have upgraded to a different room. 3 people and 2 dogs was a little cramped. I should have gotten a larger room. The food at the hotel was ok. They were short staffed. When we had dinner the waiter actually recommended another place to eat while we were here.

The breakfast was good but a little too pricey for most of us on the group.
The location was great.
