Zentrale Lage, aber katastrophale Klimatisierung, teuer

Zentrale Lage mit Parkplätzen hinter dem Hotel - in Nebensaison noch ohne Probleme einen Parkplatz gekommen, kann mir aber vorstellen, dass sie zur Hauptsaison nicht ausreichen. Betten sind bequem.

Auch wenn fast alle Hotels in der Umgebung sehr rustikal sind, entspricht der Standard meines Erachtens nicht dem hohen Preis. Katastrophale Klimatisierung - nachts im Juni 24-26°C und keine Split-Klima. Die eben genannten Temperaturen wurden trotz 2,5h Vorklimatisierung durch das schwache, aber sehr laute Monoblock-Klimagerät, direkt nach Ankunft erreicht. Aufgrund des Lautstärkeniveaus ist ein nächtlicher Betrieb selbst mit Gehörschutz undenkbar. Für diesen Preis wäre eine angenehme und leise Klimatisierung mehr als angemessen. So war trotz bequemer Betten nicht an guten Schlaf zu denken. Werde nächstes Mal lieber auf den Campingplatz als in ein solches Hotel gehen, mangels preislich angemessener Alternativen vor Ort

It had a refrigerator.

The building was not well care for.. carpet needed to be refreshed or deep cleaned. The walls need to be painted. The hotel need management that cares. Front desk agent was not welcoming. Parking is Very limited & you are left on your own to figure it out.

Great location and a comfortable stay.

The hotel is located on Main Street and there are places to eat in easy walking distance. For example Tim Hortons for breakfast and a place directly up the street called Belly of the Bison - the food there is great.

If you want to meet a nice staff, you should choose this hotel!

welcoming staff and the big bed He is so nice! Even if we went back to the hotel midnight(it was like 2:30!) after aurora watching tour and called him to ask opening the door. The location is also great.

The bathroom is not clean Especially the toilet seat :( The linens had a funny smell. I didn’t like that smell. I found a cigarette end after room cleaning.

Great value, all you need

Quiet, comfortable room and comfortable bed. Great location. Nothing fancy and definitely dated, but all you need.

Shower could have been cleaner.

I would stay here again

Good attention from the lady at the reception. Nice atmosphere and close to all important places. I really liked the cleanliness of the room and the coffee maker, microwave oven is very useful

I like all. The only thing missing was that they opened the bar at longer hours

Maybe it was Whitehorse all around, but it was a lot of money for a subpar and somewhat sketchy room.

The room was quiet and seemed to be clean.

The car had to be parked behind the building in a sketchy alley that had no security or eyes on the vehicles. We were relieved the car and its contents were there in the morning. The bed had no blanket, just a sheet and a thin, scratchy, cheap bedspread that I didnt trust got washed between visitors. So just a sheet for us.

Location was good, close to shopping and restaurants.

Good location. Bar staff was very nice.

3 floors up. A bit of a hike to lug things ip and down if you are not in shape. Could use a reno. Bath towel from last guest hanging on door and no toilet paper.

Wi-fi was awful Secobd floor was smelly (cigarette smoke even though the hotel claims to be non-smoking. Don't sketchy people around at night as hotel reception sells alcohol late at night

Did the job, but could be much better.

Great location. Spacious room. Warm and generally comfortable. Affordable. The building had a lot of character - very dated, but in a charming way. You almost felt like you were in an old Western movie.

Cleanliness was a bit poor - we found someone else’s hair in the bed and previously used spoons in the drawer. You were always greeted by a strong smell of drains every time you walked into the room. The front desk staff (although not unfriendly, they also didn’t seem that interested) wore casual clothing too, which I found a bit odd as that is more common in cheap European travellers hostels. The lady in the bar was lovely though.
