We added breakfast burrito. It probably would've been better if it was real eggs. Cause we thought it was powdered eggs.
The bed was too soft

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location to ASU is perfect.
Bed sheets were stained. Sitting chair was stained. The hall my room was really warm, which might be why my room never got cold. I found a hair in the food served in the diner. Elevators are in rough shape and could be refinished. I liked the quirky vibe and am ok with the cheaper finishes but it could use some touch ups and attention to details that make for a comfortable stay.

The location was great. Amazing food and the room decor was very cute.
The shower head must've had a lot of build up because it had little water pressure coming out.

the decor, privacy, and convenience. Great proximity to Mill Avenue. Got to go watch a movie, eat dinner, park really, and get to bed in good time!
The coffee in the room... very bad, instant. And the dairy-free creamer curdled in it.

LOCATION WAS GREAT AS WE WERE THERE FOR AN EVENT AT ASU. ROOMS ARE RETRO WHICH IS FUN. ROOM WAS CLEAN.
ROOM WAS FINE, NOTHING FANCY BUT WE WERE JUST THERE TO SLEEP SO WE DIDN'T USE A LOT OF AMMENITIES

The decor is amazing. Very Wes Anderson comes to the Southwest.

It is a friendly and creative hotel close to the Arizona State University and at less than 1 mile from Tempe downtown, but there is a free tramway taking you there in few minutes. It is expressely oriented towards inclusion and against any discrimination of races, countries and sexual orientations. It has in the common lot fine decorations, interesting books and a fantastic swimming pool. The rooms are well equipped and artistically arranged.

The size of the room was excellent, the beds super comfy, the view from the balcony was nice.
The fitness room is tiny, the lobby not very welcoming, staff not overly friendly. The girl on reception was supposed to book us for the airport shuttle but when we went to leave we were told that the driver had left and they didn't know why she had booked us at 4.30pm if the driver leaves at 4pm.

Location was convenient. Room was themed for the southwest vibe and was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that our parking fee was comped when we were spending less than 12 hours there (and came in drenched from the torrential rains.)
The hotel's decor was cute, but sparse. Unsure if that is part of the "college" vibe it was going for. Instant coffee (no keurig) in the hotel was an unpleasant surprise. Breakfast is not included and the "food hall" looked like a bar, so we chose not to eat there. We chose this hotel because it was cheaper than other options to stay overnight just to get to the airport the next morning, but it still was expensive for just a place to sleep.

Trendy hotel, service was good.
The facility is a bit tired and spruced up with colorful pictures.

bar very nice bartender
noisy , Shower curtain dirty

Location to ASU Gammage theater. Funky art in room and lobby.
Room needs repair: bathroom sink faucet loose on sink fixture, telescoping mirror on bathroom wall is loose, must keep light located on nightstand between beds “on” in order to use light fixtures receptacle to charge electronic devices, no power strip on nightstand, sagging mattresses
In-room coffee service consists of a pot to heat water with “coffee bags” to dunk in cups of hot water.
Having to pay for coffee at the Hotel breakfast bar ($4.50 per cup !!).
Lobby furniture has painfully sagging seat cushions.

Comfortable bed and some nice decor in the room.
The hotel feels and looks like a converted dorm. Lobby feels cold and sparse. My shower floor was peeling; bathroom overall very basic (how is this a four star hotel?); outlets on the desk did not work; I could not control the temp in the room - it was either blasting hot air or no heat at all - the auto setting didn’t seem to work, so I had to wake up several times during the night to manually turn the unit on or off. The restaurant serves you with all kinds of single use plastic even if you are sitting there, probably bc it is all pre-packaged. I’ve stayed in Graduate hotels before and loved the one in Chapel Hill. Was very disappointed in this one.

The bed was comfortable.
the property was older and a little run down.

Problem with computer system at check in. Not meshing with booking.com or other outside booking companies. Took a couple hours to sort our booking out - but they let us go to our room anyway and gave us free drink vouchers because of the trouble. Eventually all good.
