Don't give your credit card number

Since the cancellation was 5 days ,beware most hotels and motels are 2 days cancellations, I've been going to many many hotels,motels hostels, in over 40 years .none was more than 2 days cancellation, i truely believe the owner intends to make money from cancellations in this way be wary. I am worried he has my credit card number and so i have to notify my bank to block the owner from any unauthorized charges he may incur on it

I came to visit a sick parent and needed a cheap place to stay - worked out well thank you

It's a very nice hostel and in a great location. If the price was about ten percent cheaper I would stay longer but I am currently on a tight budget. The chap who runs it is very friendly and nice.

The ventilation was only adequate

will not go back. We were treated like college students in a dormitory with strict landlord.

i like the location

weird vibe. The owner always follow and watch what we do. We were told not to make any mess and be fast using the washrooms because others are coming. I should’ve booked and pay extra for comfort of having a place to stay where you can freely move.

one of the nicer hostels I’ve stayed in, felt homely but clean and comfortable

clean, well stocked kitchen and clean bathrooms, friendly and helpful check-in staff. Fantastic location right next to downtown Vernon

it was a little too hot in our room, a fan would’ve been nice

Good Value Stay

Good location. Low price. The place was clean. Barbel was very friendly.

Room has no windows. No parking. No breakfast. We pay for what we get, so we don't really have a complaint.

Not worth it.

Single staff member. Strange man. No real common room facilities like a normal hostel. Paper thin walls so you hear everything happening in the building at all times. Door is always locked, so for check you need to call the staff member and wait for him to come unlock the door which is hard when you have no phone signal. Not very cheap either, barely cheaper than an actual hotel. Not worth it overall.

Weird atmosphere. Strange staff member (maybe the owner). No common room.

Overall 1-10 I give it a 6. If you upgrade to a larger room it’s almost the sameasstayingin a hotel

Staff was wonderful and therefore your every need and every question. The hospital is in down town Vernon which is great.

I liked everything about the Hostel, but I didn’t like the fact that downtown is not busy at night.

Very good

The location was near the DND grounds where I spent most of my time. Hostel was not busy so there was lot of space available. There were decent restaurants around.

Please add an Adjustable Window Insect Screen Kit for the guests.

Location is the best in Vernon

There isn't any windows to get the fresh air for guests 24hrs, that is very bad during the Covid-19.

No breakfast, we were even refused use of the kitchen.

The guy at the front desk was creepy, the front of the building was very dark and unfriendly, we were refused use of the kitchen and no one else was staying there. When it came to our beds, he told us the exact beds that we had to stay in (located right by the door, which we couldn't close). The whole place seemed very off putting.

Disappointing but fine if you just need somewhere to sleep

The staff were friendly and tried to helpful

No access to a kitchen (due to covid). Very weird and sterile environment. The room was very very hot. Pretty pricey for a hostel. The shower was pretty grubby.

This is not value for money. This is just office space converted into hostel. Staff is stupid. Service is zero.

I didn’t like anything about this property.

Centralized Air conditioning was the worst. It would just turn on and off every 5 minutes. Washroom would always have waiting for minutes.
