.Quiet room away from crowds.
Coffee overpriced but pastries tasty. Gym was crowded and not fun to go to.

The property is huge well manicured & with lots of birds & places to hang out. Different pools & gazibos to sit & relax. Our premium garden bungalow was spacious & very comfortable. The barefoot bar was great for a casual meal by the marina. It’s great for anyone for a few days getaway.
It’s a bit confusing to get around as it’s a huge property but with a map, it helps. The restaurants are on the pricey side but that’s to be expected…. the food was well prepared!

The food was amazing! The grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed walking on the beach and the ponds and secluded places to sit and appreciate nature. The facilities were clean and the bed was very comfortable.
We did not get a room with much of a view. We were in Hibiscus village facing the back wall. Very bland besides watching the hummingbirds eat.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodated special requests.
We stayed in a Bayside bungalow. The location of the property was great for our kid to run around, but the inside could use a little renovation in the bathroom areas, and a central air system would be a lot better than the windows units. It gets humid, and the room starts to feel sticky, but the AC window units smell a little like mildew. Other than that, the room is updated and beautiful.

Everything the vibe was awesome and just felt like you were on your own island.
There was nothing wrong

I loved how friendly and willing to accommodate the staff was. They upgraded our room, gave my kids little bags of food to feed the ducks, brought us extra pillows and more. The pool was a blast. Lots of little pathways with beautiful tropical plants that smelled amazing. It truly felt like paradise.

The setting with trees & lagoons
I think the roads around property could be redone & cottages should be painted,

Friendly service, exceptionally so. The grounds are stunning. So much to do and explore on the property. Proximity to San Diego attractions is perfect. Variety of restaurants was appreciated, as were the hours of the food/beverage establishments. Island Market was greatly appreciated. Wayfinding was easy and intuitive throughout the site.
Per night parking cost seemed high.

Property
$36 for two mixed drinks in a CAN to order from the app and essentially to pick it up yourself. “Service fee” is $6. Not even delivered to me. That is ridiculous.

Location / facilities
Cost of food was extortionate. Staff weren’t as friendly as we had experienced elsewhere on our trip

The location was perfect but ...
The service, front desk and surroundings could be better

Location and nice staff
Paying as a guest for parking 42$ per night is just a rip off.
Too expensive for what you get, more Centerparc experience than "paradise resort" that you pay for.

Great location, beautiful spot. We loved having a pool right near our room, and having an option of using the other four pools as well. Everything seemed very clean.
There are very limited dining options and they are very overpriced and service is extremely slow. It would really be nice if they offered a continental breakfast to customers. Also, we had an issue with our keys working only intermittently, and I had requested a call back from a manager but that never happened. We had a few other minor issues. It seems like they could use an overhaul of their management.

beautiful, family friendly
the bed was not comfortable at all.

The staff was great and the property was very clean. It was also fun to feed the ducks :)
Like most resorts the food and drinks were expensive.

I loved how clean it was and how close it is to everything. It was beautiful.
I didn’t like the pet fee. We stayed for two days and it was $150 dollars. If you stayed a week it would have been $150 dollars. I feel like it should be prorated Also I think parking should be included and not 45 a night.

The location and environment were amazing. The staff were great.
There was a lot of dog poop in grass areas. Prices were pretty high for drink and food. Doesn't feel right to be charged for parking.

The activities are family oriented, amazing place, clean and the quality of the food is really good.
Beds could be more comfortable, the keys weren't working all the time.
Check in and check out can be improved so we feel we get the best value for the money since you pay 2 nights and only enjoy one day for example.

Exciting for kids with plenty activities incl. mini golf, basketball, pools, etc. Less so for parents perhaps...
Quality of food at Barefoot restaurant was rather abysmal, so we didn't even risk Tidal their main restaurant.

people were generally nice, and the location is nice
my toilet started leaking while i was using it, and it ended up that i stepped in my own pee from this leak. When i told the front desk they told me "oh we'll send an engineer right away", but at that point I was already checking out. I got no compensation for that. Furthermore the shower was malfunctioning the whole trip, with pieces from the shower physically falling apart and I always had to fix it. I would've given a better review if I got some compensation, overall I was extremely pissed off about stepping in my own piss.

The location was nice. The facilities were outdated and when comparing what we thought we booked from photos this was more of a Comfort Inn with a fancy facade.
The staff told us that they would not be doing any room cleans during our four day stay. We called each day and had to plead with them to come turn a room. We have two adults and two children in our room. If I wanted to clean up after myself I would have booked an AirBnb. Cleaning a room each day at a $350+ per night hotel should be standard. They also charge for parking at your room....$44 per day to park at a room where you are already paying to stay. The place was way over priced for what you get. Rooms sucked and you could easily book something less expensive.
