Location and balcony.
Toilet room is not convenient.

The second room we got was renovated and mostly clean although the bathroom was still not completely clean. Location was good for reaching Houston easily.
The first room we received smelled horrible and had dirty sheets. The bathroom was dirty. When we complained, the guy at the reception offered to give us new sheets to change them ourselves. We practically had to force him to check the room before agreeing to ask his boss to give us another room. Replacement room was on second floor with only narrow outdoor staircase and no elevator.

Good location, clean, value.
The front room door has problems to enter, the lockset sometimes get stucked, manager has to explain how to get in.
The breakfast it's very poor.
The bathroom smells like cigarette.
The room refrigerator make noise.

Breakfast was good, waffles, coffee, yoghurts, bagels.
Staff was nice and helpful
Room was dirty. Stains on the sheets, and towels. It didn't smell bad, but looked old with old stains. Blood or I don't know what on the wall, mirror was extremely dirty.
I understand that, it was motel and I didn't expect something fancy. But for that price and good reviews I expected at least clean room and clean sheets.
Oh and shady people around the building, someone was trying open my door at 3am.

The AC got pretty cold and kept the room that way all day, a drive-in is convenient to the interstate, with clean linens, and friendly staff, free breakfast, fridge and microwave is very pristine. Even the top of the microwave is clean.
they have drapes on the windows but no curtains so if we were to open them everyone can just see inside our room I wanted to be able to have some sunlight seep through but not have it able for others to see in as easily. also the floor paneling is kind of coming up, it's not to bad and everything is clean besides there being a cigarette butt on top the shower. The couch doesn’t look that clean. It just looks old like there’s no dirt all over it, It’s just old looking. would help if it had couch covers.

location and the bed was comfortable
The room needs a fresh well done paint job! On both walls on the sides of the bed had been previously vomited on and not cleaned very well afterwards. There are still residue on the walls and especially on the baseboards near the floor. Disgusting!

At the price-point this was spot-on, with a most accommodating site-manager who facilitated both an early check-in and late check-out. Good coffee and only a short Uber ride from downtown Houston.

The hard wood floors
The loud kids in the next room, front office staff not as polite, air conditioner loud, ironing board but no iron, sheets dirty, not enough towels

Always a maintenance issue. Incomplete room prep. Needs new beds and bedding.

In spite of all the Covid safeguards, the quality of the rooms hasn't suffered.
The motel is set back off the main road. Without GPS, I don't think I would have found it.

Location.
Facilities need some maintenance issues addressed. Our room had a light bad smell. Lobby and front desk made you feel uninvited and felt like they were closing up the hotel. Front desk morning person on her phone talking with someone on her speaker. Not very business like.

Front desk staff is awesome, always smiling and helpful. Rooms are clean and location is good. Certainly recommend
