Great location. The owner was very helpful and took the time to walk to our rooms and make sure we had what we needed and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed the back patio area and use of the corn hole game.

Booked this after spending 2 days in Canmore. It is so expensive in Banff and Canmore, I didn't book more than 2 nights there. I think Radium is a nice, little town for staying near Banff if you don't mind an hour of driving. The drive is scenic. There are also Kootenay national park sites and trails on this road. I did the Stanley Glacier hike and it was beautiful. Radium has a few restaurants and grocery stores, it is quiet and less crowded. It was nice to visit the hot springs swimming pool in the town. The motel itself is well maintained. It looks old but it is clean and in good condition. WiFi was pretty good. Nice flowers all around. Only improvement could be hard floors instead of carpet. It was pleasure to work with Tom, the owner. I think he is the reason why this is probably the most popular motel in the town. Very friendly and eager to serve his guests.
Change carpet or install hardwood/laminate flooring (better).

There was good heating and a Keurig coffee machine.
A hairdryer would be good

It was unique, cozy and clean. The host Tom was warm and welcoming. for a family owned business you can tell there is pride that come thru to their customers.
Well the front door to the office needs to be marked a little bigger.

We were greeted warmly and given a tour of our room which was nice. The room was very spacious and included a fridge and microwave. Lots of towels and coffee included.
No complaints at all.

we were so warmly greeted upon arrival. The man checking us in was extremely hospitable. It felt less like staying at a motel and more like staying in someone’s home. We had a wonderful although short stay.

The hotel proprietor, Richard, was great to deal with. Very welcoming, provided a lot of helpful and appreciated local information and our room was very comfortable and clean.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us an excellent explanation of the amenities of the town, the sights to see in the area and the locations of everything on a detailed map. All of the suggestions were based on our plans for our trip. The motel was well taken care of and clean. The location was easy to find and within a reasonable walk from downtown and the hot springs. There was a beautiful mountain view from our room and an even better view from the bbq area for the guests to use.

So much attention to details that we appreciated! Staff was very helpful, room had extra outlets, actual cream in the mini fridge for the coffee, etc. Warm shower, comfortable pillows and bed.
4.0
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the motel was within walking distance of a few eating establishments.
I know the room was small but a comfortable lounge chair would be nice.
5.0
A good location to hiking trails in the area. Also close to a reasonably priced grocery store.
Parking was a little tight because it's a small lot, otherwise, no issues.

The Gables is close to the downtown area of Radium Hot Springs, but not too close, which made finding a good place to eat easy. I particularly liked some of the little touches, like good coffee and real cream rather than powdered creamer.
