Great location with lovely cabins.
Staff could have been more polite.

Great place to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. Bring coffee if you plan to come Mon-Wed in low season as bar opens only for breakfast. The chalet has coffee machine though:)
Wooden chalet make notice (which is expected:)) when you walk, so if you travel with a sensetive to the notice little children, keep it in mind.

The accommodation was OK and it met our expectation.
I think we did not get the right tent. We did not have sheets, no towels and no matches. The fridge was not clean and had a lot ice.

That was a perfect place to stay in that area of Sutton! It felt like being in the out of nowhere!
No wifi at the house. But thats the only thing!

We liked the location, we liked to arrive in a clean tent with comfortable beds and plenty of warm duvets. The toilet/shower were clean. Good fire pit. Cute little lights framing the entrance.
Upon our arrival, reception/restaurant area was closed. We had specifically notified in advance, an early arrival but we still had to wait/waste 3 hours before checking in. Made beds in tent should be the norm with a fitted sheet for the double bed (small mattresses had fitted sheets, why not for double?). For September camping (which was our case) heating facilities should be improved. A 30 minute maximum timer for heater is totally insufficient. We understand that while camping, you don’t expect a tent to be at normalx room temperature but there is still a minimum that is required for sleeping comfort. Fortunately, we had brought our own small electric heater which compensated for the lack of heat. Also, the single side burner on bbq is not sufficient for cooking. In photos on website, there was a two burner gas stove on small table outside of tent. THAT should be the norm. Numbers on tents should be so much more obvious! More signage for filling jerry cans/washing dishes area. Also, price of wood and ice is steep. $15.45 for 6 pieces of wood and a bag of ice? 😳 Suggestion: bags of kindling for sale at reasonable price.

A nice place to spend with family, good trail network for running, walking, and especially mountain biking.
This is definitely a place for families and children, not so much for young people or those without children. Cabin was not cleaned when we arrived (mouse poop), but they were responsive. Visitors are required to clean their own cabins upon exiting, which for paying 180$/night seemed like not a great deal.

Having a little cabin in the woods was just what we needed as a base for a cycling trip in the region.
We would have liked to swim but the pool wasn’t ready on opening weekend.

We loved the site, the location, the amenities and the friendliness of the staff. They were not fully opened as it's still low season and there were a lot of people on the camping ground and not enough staff. However, I think everyone was pretty well served. The chalet was well equipped, we were thankful to have a shower that had plenty of hot water. Everything we needed was provided. We had a little problem with the chalet they gave us at first but the issue was resolved very quickly despite a lack of staff. If you book, take a look at the site map first and ask them to tell you which one you will get. Some sites a way better than others but are all the same price which could be disappointing.
Wifi was available only in the main building and was not working very well.

Everything is very thoughtful, ex: key attached with a flashlight, extra lighting in the tent, night stamp with lamps, extra blanket..etc.
The showrooms have lots of spiders inside, understand the coexisting environments with insects, but we end up skipping the shower due to the moving spiders.

Ideal for familys, yes we would go again
We had quite a few disappointments with this trip.
We came labor day and stayed 3 nights.
They said they were "off season" so the restaurant was only open in the am 8 - 11, no activites and pool was closed. There was more then 30 cars on site.
We rented a chalet and honestly did have a good time.
But.. Our chalet was not cleaned properly when we arrived our floors looked like they havnt been sweeped, vaccumed or moped in months. Also we had a mouse in our chalet and there was mouse poop all over our chalet on arrival.
After moving all of our stuff already in during the rain and with a dog I stayed in this chalet and cleaned it myself and installed my family in.
We're been to multiple camp sites and you really felt like you have privacy and we loved the concept of the cabins and even if it rained 2 days of our 4 we were really able to enjoy the outdoors and our patios in the pooring rain.

Cozy chalet in a beautiful forested area! Love the views and being able to go hiking just beautiful
Found it weird that we had to make our own beds.. also their was no coffee at the chalet

The cottage we rented was really cute, comfortable and functional. The setting was superb set amongst the pines and there were some nice hiking trails right on the property.
Only minor points. There are 40 cottages across the property which were only about 15-20% occupied, yet they put people right next to each other. Suggest instead to space people out better, say leave at least 1-2 empty cottages in between if possible. Also the checkout was 10AM which I found early (checkin is 4PM) especially since we had to make (and undo) our own beds, and cleanup the kitchen before leaving. Though do understand this may be due to the extra measures for Covid 19, so will give benefit of the doubt.
