The mansion was full of history and the other buildings and other establishments on the property looked very accommodating.
Hotel staff did not initiate assistance with our basic needs, like towels or toiletries. No assistance or communication was provided to myself or my spouse when the facility lost power for more than 48 hours. We had to find out what was going on with the property on our own. They never checked on us, our well being, or to communicate the situation. The staff didn’t offer any assistance to safely help me bring two large suitcases down a flight of stairs within King Mansion when I alerted them that we would have to leave if they have no power. It was completely pitch black in the stairwell. It was extremely unsafe. The hotel staff did not offer to find us another accommodation in the area during the power outage with no known determination on when power would be restored. We had to fend for ourselves. No one seemed to care. Not worth the money we paid. Very very disappointed.

Everything!

The property is beautiful. However, no information about the mansion/hotel (history) is available, except for a couple of posters in the lobby area. The Valet should be about the guests that are staying at the hotel, other than the evening guests attending a venue and the resturant/bar.
There should be a cut-off at the bar/restaurant in the evening. The loud sound from the bar/resturant from 5 pm-1 am is tolerable, but the drunk guests leaving the establishment and staying in the hotel while running/screaming in the hallways is unacceptable! Calling the Guests services did nothing and seemed to make the noise worse.

Very interesting and historic property, and my room was very accessible for someone who needs a cane for mobility.
The handicapped accessible shower had a hand-held shower head that was placed so high up on the wall that it could not be reached, even by an extremely tall person. Totally inaccessible, and necessary for someone who needs to sit in a shower. I told this to the management, but I’m not sure it was noted.
Hotels should consult with actual handicapped, or older, people when installing bathroom fixtures.

The room was nice and clean
The walls in my room were very thin. I could hear the people next door and they were talking at normal levels. In addition, the shower faucet leaked in the bathroom.

The hotel is beautiful and our room had an incredible, private view of the trees on the property.
The acoustics are not great. I’m not convinced our room wasn’t under the fitness center, but we could hear the people in the room above us walking around very loudly, at all hours.
One of the restaurants listed on the property no longer takes regular reservations and is only open for private events. We did not know this until we tried to go there for a rainy breakfast.

beautiful estate
difficulty getting around parking lots far from the room not good for elderly or those that can’t walk long distance

The grounds were beautiful; wish that the CELLAR was still open; there are soo many signs on property advertising it, it is a disappointment to find out it doesn't exist due to closing 4 years ago
Apparently there is complimentary coffee in the biddle mansion, 7a-1030, but no one informed us; we were looking for fresh coffee every morning and wanted something available to walk the grounds and start the day, not much info from front desk regarding services, breakfast or dining on premises or local interests

I loved the outdoor space! They had a pool, and plenty of room to be outside. We ate dinner and brunch in the garden and back patio of the restaurant, had drinks on the front lawn while listening to a DJ and enjoyed the back space next to the pool, specifically the basketball court and hammock. Can't wait to go back!

Nice area, a lot of outdoor space.
Pictures are misleading. Room we stayed in was in a subfloor, extremely dark. Breakfast was over $50 for two people to have a very limited buffet. Would not recommend, it’s a shame as rooms could have been better designed in line with mansion/historic feel.

The view and our balcony was wonderful in the King balcony room.
The loud music until very late at night from the restaurant downstairs and our ceiling sprung a leak late at night and soaked us in bed.

The view over the Hudson was fantastic and the Presidential Suite was so spacious! One and a half bathrooms worked out perfectly also. The staff was beyond accommodating...one friendlier than the next.
The property is a bit of a maze and was hard to figure out. Also the room had a kitchen..but nothing else...no plates or glasses or silverware.

Room was a very good size.
The property seems to be set up more for events that require hotel rooms (e.g., weddings, etc..) than as an "every-day" hotel. There are lots of stairs, the rooms are spread out and the parking is quite far from the rooms (and rather inconvenient). For anyone who has problems with stairs and/or can't walk up a hill to get from the parking lot to the hotel rooms should not stay at this hotel.

The grounds were beautiful to walk around. The pool and fitness center looked awesome even though we didn’t get a chance to use them. Staff was friendly.
Breakfast is not included and costs $25 per person - too pricey. TV in the room didn’t work and they never fixed it (sent someone but he wasn’t able to fix it and then said they would move us but never did). Also, it’s a bit of a walk up a small hill to get to the rooms with a lot of bags.

the staff was outstanding and the grounds were beautiful. Buffet Breakfast was truly amazing and all the staff there were absolutely fantastic!
not enough lighting in the rooms, needed to call because heat stop working twice, no place to hang towels, shower head sticking out of the wall was visually unappealing, toilets are way too small and too low.

Front desk from check in to check out we’re both very friendly, hotel room is clean
Walls were thin, we heard banging in the middle of the night and heard walking in the hallway and upstairs

Rooms were clean, housekeeping was great. Hotel is in a gerat location.
The receptionist demands deposit 80 dollars per night, our credit card did not let it probably because we had rented a car at the same night so the bank blocked it in case of theft we do not know. We offered to pay in cash but she did not accept that was annoying because it was unfortunately after a long (24 hours) journey, we were exhausted.
