good location for muni
old, dirty, loud, toilet doesn’t flush, very limited and tight parking that’s $25/day before taxes, broken handles on drawers,

Short walk to the Fisherman’s Wharf. Older building but clean & well maintained! Staff was nice & helpful!

The manager was lovely and helpful and we got a light breakfast each morning which we weren't expecting. The bed was very comfortable and the accomodation was very clean. We had everything we needed for a smaller budget, and most importantly being in the Fisherman's Wharf location, close to many restaurants and a couple of blocks walking distance to Pier 39 and Pier 33 Alcatraz ferry.
We had great views from our room too of parts of the city.
The room was quaint, but very tired decor which could do with updating.
The hotel is located on a busy intersection of road, and has original single glazed windows which meant there was no sound barrier, but the chemist opposite sells earplugs which helped us sleep.
You get what you pay for and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a great base for all local attractions.

Didn’t stay for breakfast had a meeting to attend to
Parking was limited and crammed like a can of sardines

The only thing I could say that I liked was the closeness to a Walgreens.
The attitude / customer service we received when we got there. The guy behind the counter spoke to us like we had no idea how to turn o n shower or open a door. Also, when we got in the room, it didnt look anything like the pictures on the internet. There were cigarette burns on the blanket, the TV won't turn on, and the cable box was hidden behind the TV. The location of how to get to the location was confusing, and the parking area wasn't good either.

We had to pay an additional $50 for parking which was never stated the bathroom and windows were moldy. Under the bathroom sink was moldy and destroyed. The walls were covered in filth and holes. Light switches were broken. Had we had anywhere else to go we would have just left. Never again and would like some sort of compensation. $500 for a trap house for the night.
Nothing. The front desk was nice that's about it

The parking is not free. The price is without taxes.

We really liked the location. We also liked the hot chocolate!
The bathroom needs to be updated.

Location
On the website, it said limited free parking was first come first served and there was parking available for $25.00 per night. The manager said no that is not true and started to charge $25.00 dollars per night parking! While checking out, i talked to another guest she said she read the same thing! I want my $20.00 per night back! Which is what he added to my bill! This is scam if i could have gone to another hotel, i would have. Even fully booked, there were at least 5 parking spots available.

It was coffee, rolls and Orange drink
I have stayed at this Travelodge on several previous occasions and was very pleased with it. That was the reason I made these reservations. Never again, was dirty, run down and overall filthy. Also had to pay for parking in there lot. They charge $25.00 per day. Very disappointed.

the location is good but the property is right on the street and we didn’t feel protected

Management was quick to address any problems. Liked the location, that it was fairly clean & the fact that it had mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker.

The room was really well equiped. We arrived late (around 1:00 am), but there was no problem with the check-in. They were waiting for us.
The room is a bit small for 2 people to move around.

We had the best time while visiting the San Francisco. This hotel met all our needs for price and location. We were within walking distance to North Beach, Chinatown, The Wharf and Ghirardelli. The parking was a plus - easy in and out. We walked to the grocery store and Starbucks (2 blocks). We stayed on the 3rd floor - be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs or since it's situated in a hillside - roll up the sidewalk and enter the 3rd floor that way too. We had a view of Coit Tower (AWESOME). Walgreens is on the opposite corner of the hotel and opened late!! Hands down we will stay here again when travelling to The Bay Area. Best value for a place to lay your head when exploring San Francisco. You are also about 2 blocks from one of the Cable Car turnarounds at Taylor!!!!
Hotel is older and could use some updates.
