Design of the main floor, pool and bars - everything is very stylish

Beautiful hotel with great service. everyone was very friendly and helpful. the only downside is the high price. The remodel has really taken the pmace a level up. The rooms are a bit small but that's just how this place was built originally. The service everwhere was very attentive, far better than the typical Ritz resort factory experience. This is likely because the hotel used to be independent and the same folks are in charge regardless of the rebranding.
adult pool was unheated. main pool is a bit small.

Great! Great! Great! Rooms all have good views of what Hawaii is all about (beaches, ocean, sun, surfers, even a turtle).
The breakfast was exceptional though we did not like that all warm breakfast food (eggs etc.) had to be paid extra for.
The little market in the hotel is fully equipped and also not so little. Important since there are only very few alternatives nearby.
For turtles one needs to drive to some of the nearby beaches (15min).
Don´t miss the historic landmark with a five minute walk : "Opana radar station" and it´s role on Dec 7, 1941 (attack on Pearl Harbour). It is right next to the surf school in the hotel.
The restaurant at the golf club sounded great as it was described but turns out to be far below any average golf club restaurant. Does not complement this hotel´s leaque.
In the main restaurants/breakfast & dinner food was good, breakfast even great, but on consecutive days some (few) restaurant staff appeared a bit snippy at first.

Location
Food/beverages were average-not in keeping with hotel grade/price. Lots of drunk people in bikinis/swim shorts in the bar area during the evening. Not very upscale and the staff did little to help. Tennis facilities are very substandard for a resort like this.

Location and overall feel.
It’s a convention hotel and lacked intimacy .

The atmosphere, layout, decor, and presentation of the building was very inviting of high quality. The food was delicious. The room was very nice and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
Food prices were a little steep at times, but we also understand the nature of a resort experience. It seemed to take awhile to be served or acknowledged for food service by the pool area.

Beautiful location, wonderful property. Room was generously sized and comfortable. Very clean and tidy. The room was the best one we stayed in. We had 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 child and we all fit comfortably in the one room.
The pool was a little smaller than other resorts, and a bit cold.

Staying at the Turtle Bay Resort made us finally feel as though we were on holiday. The lovely staff, atmosphere and space.

Beautiful resort and location. Grounds were well maintained and staff helpful.
Cost. Restaurants and shops in particular are crazy expensive. I expected expensive, but not like this.

Beautiful resort and property. Hiked and rode bikes around the trails. Pools were nice but full of lots of loud kids. Amazing views from room on 5th floor.
Food and drinks are over priced. $130 for breakfast buffet with tip. Got tired of paying $18-$22 per drink. Went to gift shop and made our own. Seemed like extra charges were everywhere. Plan on spending another $250-$300 per day per couple for extras and meals. Better values elsewhere on the island.

I think the price for what you got was way out of line, the rooms were dated and the woodwork in the bathrooms was rotten

Property was immaculate. So much to do and see. Pool was beautiful, beaches were gorgeous, trails were amazing.
Nothing! I loved it all

Everything was great
There are some tourist traps, like the photo shooting. It was offered with starting packages at $350, but at the end the cheapest package was $810.
6.0 / 10.0
Location, Infrastructure
Professionality of Staff, Value for Money, Misleading information on parking, bad coffee quality, food at beach restaurant, extra fee for snorkeling equipment, parking space, and so on….

The interior and exterior was great
The first time we came to front desk to ask about how we can extend our reservation, because we lived before in Waikiki hotel and we decided to come earlier for a few days, the front desk was really nasty and didn’t want to talk to us because at that time was not residents I believe, then in a few days when we came to hotel I put my Zimmerman white swimsuit on the wood table on balcony and it’s painted it, I was extremely disappointed it was on weekends and the dry cleaning didn’t work I hope I’ll fix it when I come home
9.0 / 10.0
The ocean room view, the smell of the lobby, the amenities/activities, snorkel gear rental, staff, kids loved room service, the cozy bed, the quietness of the resort. We want to go back. My daughter was incredibly sad we weren't there for the mermaid lessons.
Food options were pricey across the board but the $55 breakfast buffet and $30 for continental was a tad outrageous for offerings.
