Clean and comfortable room. Staff in C2 restaurant/bar were nice
Poor staff on reception and concierge. Dud not want to call a taxi for us. Not interested in us whatsoever. Roof top bar closed throughout our visit. C2 bar has no price list. Homeless people hanging around the square next to the hotel. Very expensive so poor value. Would not stay here again.

Location was good loved the rooftop bar.
Room quite comfortable. Would have liked
An actual menu in the room instead of on line.
For what one is paying a complimentary coffee and or breakfast would have been nice.

The room was clean, it was walkable and the staff was friendly.
Nothing.

Clean, nice facilities. Friendly staff. Ease of parking in neighboring parking garage.
Longer walk than anticipated to wharf area.

It was all neat and clean.
Only one minor point -- figuring out how to use the room card in the elevator took several tries--we felt stuck, at first.

Shuttle was very good to take us down to pier or restaurants. This was important because it is a bit of a walk to the pier area and restaurants. This is probably one of the best hotels in Portland. Some good views. Top floor bar is great view.
Location a bit too far from the good spots but still walkable. They have free shuttle to get down there.

Centrally located to the downtown. Restaurants and entertainment are nearby.
Overnight parking is pricey.

Didn’t eat and a bit disappointed that the bar was closed on Sunday
All good apart from bar closed.
Also the parking was really expensive

It’s in a perfect spot in the city. Close to basically everything.
Can’t think of anything. This is my second stay at this specific location and I think this stay was better than my first.

Room and hotel staff were perfect. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean and organized
Resteraunt and lounge. Here is why, we traveled with some other couples and family. While we didn’t coordinate we all ended up sitting together at C2 I think it was called. Now there was literally no one in there, it was empty which for us was nice but then without saying a work we noticed a “large group fee” which added over 100 dollars to the bills before tip(Nothing mentioned to us and even though it was all separately billed we all were charged this fee. Large group fee?! There was LITERALLY no one there the entire time and we had to pay extra to give them business?! Now again if it were busy or just normal operations and it was mentioned before hand, then sure, we could choose what we wanted to do. Then we went back to our rooms and my wife and I decided to go to the lounge. Now when we got there we saw another couple and so on, and of course sat nearby to chat. The waitress INCESSANTLY kept trying to group us on bill and tried this large group fee add on again. Not once, not twice…but three times. We left shortly after, and you guessed it, everything came on one bill for three different seating areas, so we had to awkwardly figure it out using cash and credit card's because the waitress just didn’t seem to care we didn’t ask nor want that. I’ll return to the hotel, but I will venture out for food and cocktails going forward.

The Westin Portland Harborview is a very nice hotel located in the heart of Portland, Maine. It is not far from the interstate, and there are lots of shops, restaurants and historical attractions nearby. On this occasion, we were taking in a play at the Portland Stage, just a block away. After the play, we enjoyed the panoramic view with a nightcap and snacks at the Top of the East, located on the 15th floor. The Eggs Benedict at the C2 restaurant the next morning were cooked perfectly. The staff at the hotel and restaurants were pleasant and attentive, and the valet had our car ready promptly at check out.
Our bed was comfortable, but my wife would have preferred a firmer pillow.

We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Junior Suite, and found the room comfortable with plenty of space. One of the favorite parts was the shower, it truly was great! The amenities were also fine, with more than adequate gym facilities. Elevators were quick and don't recall really having to wait for one. The staff was friendly and on the few times I stopped by they were always willing to help.
Overall, nothing major to not like. The only thing that was kind of meh was the lighting. I can't speak for all rooms, but at least in ours there was only a light switch in the bathroom and the main light by the door. The other lights throughout the living room and bedroom area were manual. This at times made for a pretty dark room and having to feel your way to a light. ...we managed fine.

The room was actually clean. To a spotless level. Very rare!
The shower had no seat or low shelf to rest a foot.

The lounge has beautiful views of the harbor and we arrived as the sun was setting over Portland

Breakfast was delicious! We especially likes the young valet guys who taxied us around! That was a really nice amenity.
Loved the rain shower too!

Room space, clean, shower, shampoo, conditioner and soap were great quality. Friendly staff and facilities
No free parking.

Comfortable, clean, and close to the location I needed to be at.
It was a little pricey, but that is minor.
5.0
No concierge when checked in. Front desk couldn’t comment on restaurants in the area because he doesn’t eat out. Much hyped skytop lounge was closed. No microwave in room. Only one regular coffee. Granted late checkout then received a call 1 hr later to tell us no. Farther to walk to wharf than expected
3.0
Longer walk to water then we expected
Bathroom door wouldn’t close and terribly noisy, mold in the shower, thick dust on inside of bathroom door, torn wall paper, frayed rug, sticky bathroom floor with hair on it, chipped paint on main door and filthy carpeting in hallways, thin bedsheets, and poorly made beds.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful to us and our dog. Lovely hotel. Thank you!

The bed was clean and comfortable. The location is superb. The room wasn't as classy as the rooms were at the Old Eastland Park Hotel.
Check in could have been easier.
6.0
Large room, comfy bed. Good shower. Valet parking.
Hotel is huge and impersonal. There is a lot of walking until you get to your room. The door was left open to the room when we got there. The front desk said they would send up another robe and never did. No exhaust or fan in the bathroom and a doorstop centered on the bathtub wall, making it an obstacle to step over/around getting in and out of tub. No first aid kit at concierge or reception.
9.0
A very comfortable hotel in a great location. Excellent breakfast. But you should be aware that breakfast is on the menu and this makes the process a little more complicated and longer.
The windows do not open and you breathe not fresh air, but air-conditioned.
The main complaint is that we could not get through to the hotel by phone in contacts. This is unacceptable
