I like the pool in the main part of the resort. The duel head showers in the room was great.

Loved the size of the apt! The staff was phenomenal, Wish apt was cleaned more often than once a week. The mattress and pillows need updating . A handheld shower would be a welcome addition, Other than that... all ok.
Mattress and pillows!

Internet. They have some stupid protocols blocking your device and internet i barely use my laptop due to that. Annoying.

Full size refrigerator. Separate living room. Convenient parking. Plenty towels. Comfortable bed. Reasonably fast maintenance response to requests via text, not phone.
No response to questions emailed to property prior to arrival. Unable to reach property by phone (extended hold time). No balcony in this unit and a window only in the bedroom; separate living room was dark without a light on (one visits Florida in the winter for the sunshine, not a dark room!). With unusually cold weather, we needed to turn on some heat instead of A/C but only cold air blew from unit. Unable to reach front desk due to endless hold. A text for service resulted in maintenance coming to make an adjustment in the A/C unit to provide heat. Ice maker in refrigerator/freezer didn't work. The hot/cold for the shower was reversed and there were no markings on any knobs, so it seemed we had no hot water until maintenance came and said it was reversed. Maintenance staff helpful but communication was difficult because none spoke any English. Elevator floors were dirty. No shampoo or lotion amenities provided, only small soap bars. Vacation Village is mostly timeshare units, so sees a lot of use and wear and tear.

For us it was very convenient because it was very well located and easy access to the highways.
They could improve their decoration a little more modern and not carpets.

Staff was nice
Friday early moring on 3-11 the emergency alarm went off around 1:45 and 2:15am. Floor vibrated really bad because of the ice machine next to our room, you could hear the vibration through the pillows. Horrible. Called front desk and swapped us to a different room really horrible. We left saturday morning did not want to stay another night.
We would really like to at least get reimbursement on 1 nights stay.
Nowhere did it say it was a timeshare when we reserved the room.
The pics on the website showing the room look way more updated then where we stayed.

The staff was awesome, they were able to turn what could have been a bad negative into a positive one. After we checked in (and it took some searching to find where we were to check in --- and we arrived after midnight) we found the room to have the dining room chandelier literally hanging by the electrical cords. We notified the front desk who promptly moved us to a different room. Since we did not have a car, security delivered one to us within 15 minutes or so. The staff was responsive, friendly, and professional... I cannot rate them high enough.
The pool was everything we hoped for (we were visiting our grandchildren, and do they love a pool. With the temperatures in the high 70's and a little breezy I was dreading the pool but found it to be heated and super comfortable. We stayed in the pool for an hour or so at a time and were never cold (until we got out, but I can't deduct points for Mother Nature).
We traveled during Spring Break and were a little concerned about that... no need to fear there. The property is located right next to the everglades and far enough away from the beaches to avoid the crowds - there really aren't too many students partying at the everglades!
One word of advice... know where to check in before you try to find it. Unlike most of Florida, the streets are not in grids and you can get turned around pretty quickly and there are no signs pointing the way to Vacation Village check in (there are 2 Vacation Village resorts withing Weston). Had we relied on an Uber/Lyft driver getting us where we needed to go (we had no real address, just the property name) it might not have turned out so well (our son picked us up and was able to figured things out). If you get lost, call the resort telephone number, they guided us to where we needed to go.
Our first room could have been without the safety issue; but I suppose things like that can happen. The problem was resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
