Hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff is great, the rooms are great, best hotel I've ever stayed at! I came from Pittsburgh to snowboard, and the hotel is the only part of the trip that went smoothe and that met or exceeded my expectations.
The ski resorts. They're not clear about when lifts shut down for the day. I traveled to the ski capital of the world thinking I be would get full days of snowboarding in. This proved very difficult with the broken down lifts and the early close times. Day 1 we arrived in aspen in the afternoon. I Bought a day pass and no one told me that they were about to close, so I only got 1 run in. Day 2, I got out at 930.. went till 1130. Then I ate lunch and we drove over to snowmass resort. When we arrived around 1, I went to the main lift and it was closed down. There was no way up the mountain. I was extremely upset. Rushed back to Aspen mountain hoping to get in a few runs, no luck. My day of boarding was over after a short morning. Day 3 I was determined to get my money's worth and actually snowboard the full day, so I snowboarded at Aspen mountain from 10AM-4PM without eating or anything because I was afraid to leave the mountain and then not be able to get back up. So I spent about $12k for a 3 day trip where I really only got to snowboard for 1 day (a hungry day where I was terrified of leaving the mountain). It was still a great time, but for the money spent, I barely got to snowboard ( the whole reason I came).

Stayed in September 2022. We loved the location of the hotel. We walked to dining and shopping. The studio condo was spacious. The balcony view was really lovely. We loved the outdoor space with pool and hot tubs. It was a great fall getaway time for us, as we were there in a quiet, not so crowded time of year. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We can’t believe it took 40 years to return to Aspen. It was worth the wait. This hotel helped make the experience memorable.

i didn't know there was breakfast
on two occasions the maintenance person barged into my room without knocking, once while I was asleep, this is not acceptable when travelling alone.
there was also construction in the room above or below which was not great
