The breakfast and service in the restaurant was top notch. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens and the park walk was lovely.
The room was very comfortable and clean.
The pool was closed and we were very disappointed. After a long hot day we were so looking forward to a swim. I felt it warranted a discount but this was not offered and was shrugged off by reception staff.

This hotel stood out to us during our trip, it was really lovely and personal. The hotel is not huge so nothing feels overcrowded, the rooms are a really good size and nice design and layout. The pool area is good and parking is easy! We really loved our stay here.

C’est magnifique, chambre spacieuse, lits confortables, silence, propre… il ne manque rien, personnel hyper réactif à la moindre demande.

Loved this hotel but been a few years since the last time I was here. The campus is beautiful. The location is perfect. Beautiful building beautiful rooms.
The breakfast used to be excellent. Not so much now. A high school poem was going on. So I couldn’t find a parking space had to park on the street and I paid for parking. Music was loud until 11 o’clock at night. Had early morninganHad early morning flight, could not Sleep. Until after midnight.
But even with that I will definitely stay here again.

The Hayes Mansion Property (itself) was excellent. The residential area surrounding the property appears to have grown up after its construction.
Our room 250 was near the next door neighbor residential area with a dog barking non stop. A large India Wedding was very active on the mansion grounds. Which means plenty of loud music and limited parking nearby.

Clean. Good location. Friendly staff.
Walls are paper thin so you can hear every footstep and conversation in the halls.

The room/bed is nice/comfy. The furnitures/decorations near the front desk look good/warmth.
No valet/service/helper whatsoever! We arrived at 7pm from SFO and leave at 7h30 am. It was raining a lot and no one helped us with our luggages. Anyway, our room is in another building so we have to carry everything outside to another building and up to the 2nd floor. But the elevator was out of service. Really? Same routine the following morning. We had breakfast (the only option is buffet) for ($24 pre tip/tax). Pretty expensive for some bread/egg/bacon... but the lady working/cooking/serving there, at least, was lovely.
After complaining before we leave, I was generously offered a snack/water which is a disgraceful.

Bed was soft enough I slept good. Room was smaller than I like but that's it.

The staff were all nice and professional. The dinner we had was very good and not too pricy.
There were about 6-8 drunk guests in the pool in the early hours of the morning that woke up my 2 kids and I up for a couple hours. Did not see any attempt from staff to tell them to leave so that was a little frustrating.

What a beautiful property! I wasn’t expecting such a gem to pop up in the middle of an otherwise unremarkable neighborhood. Love all the decorations and furniture!
Pool area could use a bit of an upgrade, but it wasn’t bad, just basic.

Cool historical vibe, updated decor
The way the room numbers are on the building were sort of confusing

Nice building. Restaurant staff is always very kind and helpful.
$15 to pay for parking is ridiculous. And parking is limited causing myself and my 83 year old mother to have to drag our bags across the hotel property.

Beautiful facility. The layout and architecture was top notch. Definitely something to I’ll remember for my lifetime
Location seemed a bit off for what it is. But still conveniently located with good access to surrounding attractions.

Kelsey from the Front Desk was amazing. Cullan the bartender was good. The first night qaa ruff as the guest next to us were up all night. Kept us up most of the night. The pillows were so unconfortable the first night they were totally flat. It was not a good rest. The second night was way better as we got extra pillows and tjere was no noise at all so we were well rested.
The restraunt food. My food was to over fried(burn). Taste bitter.

The historic aspect of the Hayes Mansion was wonderful, as was the proximity to the Edendale Park.

Nice room and bath room. Clean and modern.
Only had two kurig pods for coffee and tea! Wish there were several to chose from! Also ceramic mugs would have been nicer than cheap plastic cups!
Bathroom: no accessories like shower cap, etc
Free Bottled waters in room would have been nice!
Heater in room did not work
